I prefer the version with the pockets for organization: I put the common fasteners I'm using the most on the outside and more "special" items tuck securely in the pocket (bit holders, extra pilot bits, long or wider screws for when something gets stripped out). Putting it on the upper arm (not the wrist) on the side I'm operating the drill means I knock less things off while moving around. Pro top: get some HDPE sheet (milk jug) and fold a tight-fitting "pocket protector" liner for the pockets so screw threads and drill flutes don't tear up the insides. Pocket tension and magnets still hold everything well but you don't build up a nest of fibers that fights you on the way out or drags multiple items together. I've also taped extra neodymiums to the outer-facing side of the HDPE to boost the outer surface retention.

You are correct the velcro does come apart from the seams and from the middle. I cannot recommend for daily use.

I taped another magnet on to the pull tab part and I can stick this into rtu’s and furnaces while taking off panels. I use this not on my wrist but just as a magnetic ‘bowl’ that fits into a pocket in my bag or pants.
