To use the og interface... 2 presses for turbo.. lock it out 10 presses or more it will flash and the interface will switch to 2 presses for turbo and 3 presses for the strobe. Which is better because that what all the other Olights interface is

I've had a few Olights, but they've failed me about a year later. All I have left is a Baton II and a Gober. The Baton II stays on turbo for 2 seconds and drops down. The 2 others have become paperweights. I went over to Fenix and have been happy so far, they have an amazing warranty too. I want to like Olight but they just have let me down a few times. I do like the Olight Gober on my dog harness, it works great. Thanks for your videos!

I hate how they release a new Arkfeld and I always seem to want it more than the one I have. I have the Winter titanium model and the Pro Racing model. This one looks like it belongs in Master Chief's pocket and I have a feeling it would last longer in my HVAC work than the soft aluminum Pro model I have now. I swear if I buy one of these and they come out with a Halo edition later on, I'm never buying another Olight again.

I think you answered your own question. If dual fuel is desired then the choice is obvious. In my vid I mentioned doing the runtime math. Given the power of these small lights, I am now more apt to carry a second light rather than another battery.
@matthewhebbert9712
@matthewhebbert9712 Ай бұрын
I have many Rovyvon and Olight torches. They are both great products. I would tip slightly to the Olight side because I find them to have better materials, fit & finish, and UI (user interface), and because Olight's customer service is one of the best I've ever dealt with. That being said, Rovyvon makes great torches, and their "dual fuel" options are great (I've carried an E3 Pro on my keychain for years). My recommendation would be: get BOTH! The Arkfeld Ultra and Rovyvon E30 are both bangers, you won't be disappointed with either.

I have got the Ark Pro, daily care for work for sometime now. Great little light. Runtime not really a bother for me as I just leave it on mag charger when I leave for the day. UV light comes in handy for inspecting random machines and looking for odd fluorescing spots. The laser and flashlight on to point out spots in dark areas. Gotten it covered many times in machining coolant and metal dust. Still going strong.

They just use 7075 Aluminium instead of the regular 6061. It is nothing new, Zebralight has been doing it for years, Wuben did that as well. That green color, or I would say "natural anodized" even though it wasn't anod, was used by Zebra very long time ago.

Wow, Olight does cover their non removable batteries for Life in their lifetime warranty: If you purchased an Olight® product from the USA after January 1st, 2023, the local service centers will honor your LIFETIME WARRANTY for your purchase. If your Olight product (including its structure, built-in battery, LED, or lens) ever experiences any issues, we promise to take care of it. If we are unable to repair your product, we will promptly replace it with a product in perfect working condition, which will be of equal or better physical condition. @jonasv328 Ай бұрын
@@bulkhungry Look at my comment. It provides factual additional info about the flashlight discussed in this video. I urge viewers to not be fooled by marketing claims about fancy aluminium alloys, but research about light emitters and light quality instead. I personally care about the LIGHT in flashLIGHT. The reason why I clicked the video does not matter at all. Maybe there was some hope that Olight would start to care about light quality, but looking into the specs hidden in the user manual PDF left me disappointed again.

@@jonasv328 @jonasv328 still haven't answered my original question . Calling your previous message rambling wasn't an attack, but an observation. It's not normal to watch videos of products you don't buy , from manufacturers you don't like and then proceed to point out "flaws" . "Worst light quality .... can't take Olight seriously ." Ok , fine . Millions don't agree , or Olight wouldn't be as successful as they are. Maybe your wisdom will save them all from themselves , and O-hell , and everyone will thank you . But otherwise , for the third time (a critique of your reading comprehension skills is not an attack , merely an observation) , why did you click the video of a product you dislike ? And yes , your reason matters.

No replaceable battery and proprietary charger if thats the kind of future you want then more power to you but for me if a company tells me "Screw you you can't replace the battery and you have to use our proprietary charger " then its a no purchase to me. Theres a good reason why aaa, aa, cr123, and 18650 lights will always be the better option and olights nonsense of proprietary battery voltages too they can get bent for that anti consumer bullshit but hey people keep supporting olight when they can clearly use standard voltage, usb-c but they want you in their walled garden...
