Amazing, as always. Thank you! I never skip through your videos, I watch every second. I'd love to see 1/35 German figures that you have painted. A tutorial would be nice, or even a gallery of past projects showing these. Many thanks again. Dave too 😃

Always nice to still get lessons from you. Going to try this on my Tommy's War Gordon Highlander, as they had a tough time of it at Le Cateau. Thanks for the great video.

Dave, an excellent tutorial, thanks. Lots of very subtle touches all add up to an amazing finished product. This has really inspired me to have a go at painting a larger figure.

Thanks and I think you will really enjoy painting in a larger scale. I paint over a hundred 1/30th scale figure for the Wm. Britain Co. (catalog photos and paint masters for use in production) so anytime I am modeling for myself I always choose a larger figure!

Excellent work Dave! Really like it for the armor and historical larger scale models. Pigments also can be used to great effect depending on the "dirt" you want to have on your model and which area the model is in.

Thanks Jonathan! I like to use both most of the time to vary the tones and textures. I appreciate the feedback!

How does “scale” play into this Dave? Texture on a 1/16th is a big difference versus 54mm. Suggestions?

The 1/16th figures are from Jon Smith Modellbau (available at Last Cavalry in the US) and the WW1 Highlander is from Stormtroopers Miniatures in the UK. Thanks for watching!
