Whether we go for the expensive option or the cheap option, whats important is getting it right. We went for the expensive option in Ndombele and we got it wrong. We went for the cheap option in Vicario and we got it right. Our data backed approach has been excellent recently, so I have a high level of trust in our process and leadership. Realistically, we need a striker and an attacking mid to rotate with maddison more than a winger (we have son, werner, johnson and deki there already, plenty of numbers). For me, Toney and Eze are the perfect pair to revolutionize our attack.

Spurs made his deal permanent last summer. If you're saying keep Johnson or Solomon because they just joined, same goes for Kulu. Spurs would lose if they sold Johnson or Kulu this summer. Solomon was free, so he'd be the obvious choice to let go. Personally I'd sell all three and cancel Werner loan.

@@sof5930 I think Johnson has better potential, Solomon was free, Werner almost free. Mikey Moore looks ready already. Kulu still has a value more than we paid for him. It just makes sense with no potential downside. We are or will be stacked wherever he plays.

Lankshear is the next Parrott and Scarlett. I will believe there is a plan for him when I see it. Hes 19, hasnt played mens football yet. Theres players around europe playing in the top division at 19. Spurs are linked to several.

The reason we sold Troy, imo, was Dane Scarlett. He's younger and I believe the coaching staff think he's a better prospect.

Scarlett this season needs a successful loan, the opposite to his previous two loans - ideally to a Championship side that will start him regularly, if not maybe to Birmingham who our former assistant manager now manages

I agree Argentina were going to get over the line but I did not think by any means they were the best team throughout the tournament. I think Colombia was. Remember Colombia had not lost a game in over 2 years beating Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil and many others along the way. But fair play, happy my boys got it done!

Matty Hayes, I respectfully disagree on your point that any fan or person that isn’t Asian’s opinion doesn’t matter regarding what Rodrigo said. I see your point and would encourage you to think about privilege and how white cisgender straight males should use their privilege to talk about that stuff. We should be telling other privileged people to be more conscious and think before speaking. We should be allies of Asian people and do work to educate and discuss racist statements amongst our own communities and always elevate people who are affected to speak as well.
