Lata Makau, also known as Sungai Luit Falls, boasts a breathtaking waterfall nestled in a tranquil setting. The journey begins at the Bukit Kutu car park and crossing two iron bridges. Trekking through a blend of rubber plantations and bamboo forests, you may catch glimpses of enchanting wild plants around. As you draw nearer to the waterfall, the distant sound of rushing water fills the air.
Lata Makau cascades as a single powerful stream plunging from a cavernous hollow in solid rock, forming a vast emerald pool below. The waterfall offers a revitalizing experience, inviting hikers to take a refreshing dip in the river.
Along the route, designated campsites (i.e Kem BMW) provide opportunities to pitch tents or indulge in a scenic picnic amidst the stunning natural surroundings.
