By the way, Nehru was in England when China attacked India. Well, that is not his mistake for he was unware of China's motives but he was against the Indian defence force, which was a heavy misjudgement. These brave patriots mostly perished form the cold. The results of the war, we all know. So I wonder what kind of desh bhakti Nehru had and what kind of contribution he had for the protection of Indian borders, which he was entrusted with and which was one his prime responsibilities. From this perspective even Indiraji was better.

It was proved when the mighty American Army was expelled from South Vietnam, as a result of the massive resistance of the common people. Pandit Nehru's vision was to unite his citizens into one single entity and induce in them the sense of duty towards the nation. He knew that no enemy, however strong it is, could survive long if the resistance against it is equally strong. The thing which was proved in 1965, 1971, and 1999. Pandit Nehru understood the pulse of India more than most of the Indians did.
