I always loved Where’s Waldo and I Spy Books when I was a kid! I have very fond memories of hunting through the books with my mom. 💖 So, even as a twenty something now, these adorable illustrations of your ants brings my heart the warm fuzzies of being a child! If you were to ever publish a book of these ant hunts, I would definitely have to buy one for myself...and one for my mom!

If you are taking advice for what would be a fun and weird to draw next December, Catalonia doesn’t have Santa, instead they have a log, like a cut down tree, with a painted face and a hat that poops presents. Yup, you read that right. It’s called a “Caga Tio” :The kids are supposed to leave cookies by him every night from December 1st until Christmas Day, and on Christmas you get a stick and beat the Caga Tío with it and for some reason that makes him poop all the presents that month of cookies made in his belly. (He is covered with a blanket, so when you put the presents under it you can say it’s getting fat instead of the kids just seeing the presents there). I loved it as a child, never understood why a fat American man was supposed to come to my house, specially in an area where there’s never snow and no one has chimneys!

I drew an illustration for it ten days before the deadline, and told my sister I was ready to enter in the drawing using her social media bc/ I don't have any of the ones included. (There are ants helping a girl get ready for some dance or whatever similar to Cinderella and her mice.) I finally remembered it the day after the deadline, but I'm fine with that bc/ I wasn't going to participate in the giveaway part, just the drawing part of it. This video reminded me to get it poseted on my art account: Lee Kitty. Lots of fun and knowledge came out of participating in this ant--themed contest. :D Congrats to all the winners!
