This is a legendary episode. Not only a great interview with Raquel Welch but Lyle Lovett performs with Leland Sklar on Bass! Will watch again.

I simply must thank you yet again for another CF upload. Craig has always been one of my most “efficacious” coping mechanisms, all the pills in the world do nothing compared to the joy/entertainment I get from the Fergs. Factor in the dark developments of the last few days & it’s the distraction I need more than ever. -Regards

@@chuckles9767 Well....I can’t seem to take comfort in almost anything these days but yes of course I get your point. War is tragically perpetual, as one enters its first week another sees its first decade etc. I ruminate way too much about the suffering on this globe, it’s not healthy. Especially as it just makes one feel helpless. Right now this is really killing me, 80% of my family originally came from Ukraine :/

@@chuckles9767 Thank you. It’s a difficult balancing act, trying to distance oneself & cut off the anxieties & rumination for self-preservation. My baseline is extremely anxious 24/7 anyhow which makes it that much worse. Sad as it may sound I strive to feel “numb” occasionally, which you clearly understand as you speak of your experiences working in the centers. You’re a good person, I don’t think I have what it takes to work in such environments. I’ve worked in education (kids as young as 6 up to high school age) and was emotionally exhausted by the late afternoon.. -Cheers

That "Larry King" interview was impresive; great interview with Raquel Welch and.. those Lyle Lovett guys kinda remind me to the... Black Keys, everything good.

The best part about watching these on youtube (or a VHS tape) is skipping the musical guest. Craig was one of the best talk show hosts ever, but his taste in music is pretty bad. Seriously almost every band that appears on the show comes out and takes a giant dump on stage and he says hooray wasnt that great uhhh.... no

Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson 1/29/2008 Raquel Welch, Lyle Lovett 406am 26.2.22 2008 raquel welch? jeeeeeeez... i mean... you only needed one guest, then.... and you would have her on the show quite a number of times, wouldnt you...? perving at my age.... p.s jim must be sitting pretty. well done, sir... n.b the hammer horror creature feature she starred in still stands proud in my collection. it's a fine movie... maybe it influenced the film: Aaaah re: dialogue or lack of it. p.p.s as for "perving" then i once heard a man say to some lady that if he was married to her he would be on her 24/7. and although sounding somewhat creepy and pervy you just know what that entails...

@r33mote Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson 1/29/2008 Raquel Welch, Lyle Lovett 0157am 5.3.22 or wouldnt it be odd if this was all televisually (sic) spliced akin to the war in ukraine... controversial? perhaps... it would be odd if he was sat talking to an auto cue and she was talking to a computer screen under the vague impression she was chatting to craig or the aforementioned pervs who enjoy to perv over her...? as for craig ferguson - yeah... i saw him live mnay years ago supporting harry enfield at appollo, manchester. he was cool. i think he may even have featured on friday or saturday night live (UK version) many years ago, also... dunno if it's on you tube as i aint checked... but, yeah, the brits attempted to create a live comedic venture wherein all manner of things went wrong amidst comedic patter. even the mighty sam kinison appeared...
