Before watching this video I watched Larry King interview Craig, and when Larry asked him who was the most memorable guest he had ever interviewed Craig replied "Desmond Tutu, for the man he is". This shows once again what a remarkable and flexible intellect Craig Ferguson actually has. Playing the fool for cheap laughs to appeal to the "average person" one minute, and conducting a very respectful, informed and insightful interview of one of the most remarkable human beings in the previous half century - in a way that the same "average person" can still follow - moments later. Exceptional.

@stevedoe16303 жыл бұрын
silly human The interview got to a rough start with the pacing, but Craig figured it out. The morale of Tutu’s messages are baked within the stories. Patience is needed to listen to the story, or else the morale will never come to light for this type of person. I think he hides these morales in story to diminish importance. The lesson is less important than the human, who requires patience, humility, empathy, those sorts of virtues, to learn the lesson in the first place.
