Grandma is up and down. I think she's really sad to be in the assisted living place, but she's trying to be okay with it. Physically, she's doing fine. She's been getting B12 shots and she's always a lot more capable (and in a more cheerful spirit) right after she's had one. I feel sad for her. It's hard to see her losing her independence. I'd hoped she'd pass on before she had to give up her home. I think she did, too. Tom and I would love to figure out how to make it work to bring her to our home, but one of my uncles isn't keen on it, so Primrose it is.

Would she be able to go back to her house if she had someone living with her? I know for my grandmother we had a caregiver for her 24 hours a day. She loved being back in her home and she loved the ladies who cared for her.

My grandma passed away 3 years ago and I miss her so much. Thank you for sharing yours. Grandma Fern is a sweet lady. I enjoy your date night videos shopping with Tom; you two make a great team! I used to do a late night grocery shopping when my youngest was a baby (he’s 7 now). It was so peaceful to be in the store when it wasn’t crowded or noisy and I could take my time getting things. These shopping trip date nights are seriously becoming my favourite videos! I look forward to them so much each month! It's lovely to see a couple interact and just do the normal things like most couples while also taking the time to make a "chore" into something memorable! I know you are obviously the parents to 9 beautiful children, but it is really nice to see that even with 9 kids you can and do make time for the two of you as a couple! Too many people grow apart when they have kids and it is never good. Praying for you all and please know that we are interested in all your videos! I know you said that you were behind in the last live and that you weren't sure if it was worth the time to edit so far back, but we love you guys and getting those videos is precious! She is growing so fast! Today I realized I'd never taken any pictures of her in that beautiful dress that I believe you said your husband's mom made for her. I wanted to be sure you got to see her in it, so I squeezed it back onto her. It was quite a comedy. I couldn't keep her still once I finally got it on and all she wanted to do was eat the ribbons. Eventually, I gave up on getting a picture and just took some video from which I can (hopefully) get a good screen shot. She was wearing the other dress you sent all day today. I paired it with that red sweater that Olive Nault made for her. She looked like a little angel in it. She was sitting up pretty much by herself and I got some good video of her. I thought of you all day!

Until I was pregnant with Hannah, date night was always separate from my monthly Walmart trip, but Tom started coming along to help me and we enjoyed it so we decided to continue. We don't live in a place that has art galleries, museums, etc. Well, there's _a_ museum that I've been to many times, but it's not the kind of place that's open in the evenings and isn't a date night kind of museum. This is rural Wyoming. There is a movie theater, but the last time we were going to go to the movies we realized it doesn't bring us that much joy unless it's something we _really_ want to see, so we decided to quit spending money on that activity. There's a place that has live shows and concerts that come to town sometimes, but we stick to our 24th of the month date night. If we break from routine, it's too easy to let things slide and not do them. A lot times we'd just go to a park for a nice walk or just dinner and back home again. Country life is just fine by us. :)

I just started doing that when we were spending so much time with Grandma at the hospital. Hannah slept better in the car seat than in her stroller. I bought an adjustable bungee cord to strap the car seat into the stroller. I wouldn't take it on rough terrain, but it does fine on smooth floors and cement.

Sam's Club is 120 miles away, which costs us about $40 in gas to drive there and I have to be gone from home a whole day. I've never depended on it for that reason. (Costco is 265 miles away!) Walmart is the best thing we have nearby here in rural Wyoming which is why I shop there.

That's what I _always_ did before, but when Tom started going shopping with me about 9 months ago to help me when I was pregnant, everyone enjoyed seeing him load a full cart, so now we get it all in the store. (Online prices are slightly higher, too, but that's not why we don't shop on the website much anymore.)

Most of them get eaten in the kids' oatmeal. They like to sprinkle them on top. I make cookies, too, and we use them in trail mix. (That's what the M&Ms were for, also.)

Hi why are your traffic lights/signals flashing for.

When it gets late, the lights are set to flashing because there's not much traffic. It keeps people from having to sit at red lights when there aren't any cars around. If it's a flashing yellow light, you can drive on through. If it's a flashing red light, you stop and go like it's a stop sign.
