Our Tallest Cart Yet? ║ Large Family Shop with Me │ May 2019

In this video, we're shopping for a few birthday things for Judah and lots of random home goods that we needed. We bought a new rug for our back door. I liked it so well I ordered the same rug in a large size for our living room. After forgetting to use them in the store, I used the Walmart gift cards we had from our KZbin friends to pay for it.
We also stop at Dollar Tree to pick up a few things for Solomon's birthday party.

I am having a Mills Marathon and all I can do is cry! Such a tragic loss for your family! @@deniselancaster6888 Andrea was pregnant when she got sick (around 13 weeks along, I believe), and she miscarried shortly before she passed away. The baby was a boy, and they named him Cyrus.

Tip on saving paper towels is using washable napkins, I’ve made some, bought some, beautiful older folk gave me some! My children would go through 2 rolls a day😣 most times! Now we manage to only go through 8 rolls a month! Fantastic! They use them during meals, clean up messes they make, and etc! Saves me money! I keep the clean ones in a bin in the middle of table and dirty ones in another bin in the kitchen, once full I just throw them in the washer! Kids fold them and put them away! I have enough to wash about once a wk!

We've been doing something similar at our house! I made 24 cotton towels to use instead of paper towels and it's really helped us cut back. I bought fabric on this shopping trip to make 24 more, but I haven't sewn them yet. In time.

This was so much harder to watch this than I thought it would be. I have sewn most of my life and I loved watching her shop when she had a project in mind, (like Mr. Sully's backpack.) It was obvious Andrea didn't feel good, but she still laughed at you arranging the shopping cart. lol Watching you cook and bake with the kids during the holidays has been really sweet. I know you feel horrible Tom, but it's clear the little ones feel a great loss too. It's easy to see the older boys feel worse than they say. I think they try to be strong for you. I hope they got their shopping done and are now excited about having fun. Something you may need to check before the 'New Years hotel party', is the girls swimsuits. My neighbors are leaving on a Disney cruise and the little girls all had to have larger swimsuits. Guys can wear their trunks for years, but Eden is growing so fast she may need a new one. Hi Andrea! I order all the heavier & bulk items through Walmart online for pick-up. It does really save time & energy. I go into the store 1st before my preset grocery pick-up time & get my fresh items & anything else I need in clothing, gifts etc. After I have that checked out ~ I pull around to the pick-up area for my groc pick-up. Everything is lifted & loaded for me & anything cold or frozen comes directly from storage to the car. Best of both worlds! Patty Alberta Canada 🇨🇦

Walmart pickup is the best! I love it for when I have stocking up to do. I order all the big stuff and pantry items through the pickup and go into the store for any clothes, extras and perishable food. Saves me a lot of time and cart space.

Having grocery pick up is a huge blessing for me. Being mostly home-bound due to health issues, my son has had to grocery shop for me for several years now. When grocery pick up came to our area I was ecstatic. Not only did it help me feel less guilty for asking him to shop for me, it gave me the chance to do the shopping in a safe way for me: online. Although, for someone that wants to get out of the house and likes to shop, I can see why it wouldn't be appealing like it wasn't to you, Andrea. One good thing is you can order for someone else, and they can pick it up. So when my grandson was sick, I could order all kinds of food and medicine and even some toys (granny has to spoil him somehow!) and his mom could just go pick it up and not expose the rest of the store to the stomach flu.

That sounds really perfect; it must make it so nice to be able to pick exactly what you want but still have someone else go out and get everything for you. It's funny how old things become new. It used to be that in many small towns, mine included, that you could call up the grocery store and order what you wanted and they'd deliver it to your door shortly thereafter.
