Been living in a camper 3yrs while working on our farm. Try this, check into a couple of used 100lb tanks and a dolly. get an adapter to connect them. You can use the small ones as emergency till you get the others refilled. We use ours for winter heat, cooking outside inches summe and sometimes our fridge. You'll make it. It does get easier. Cheers

The day Lilly's, daffodil's, and iris's were planted years ago by former owners of the land. They're not wild. They will last forever. They are definitely perennials and you will have them forever. You can also transplant them to wherever you would like them when you get to doing landscaping and flower beds. Looking good

Jason and Brooke over at Cog hill figured out it was more economical to heat with a electric heater because the propane was way too expensive to run for heat. They have lived in a camper for 6 months so far. They too didn't expect the heat to be such a big draw on their tanks.

ALERT👍 Iwill give you a helpful suggestion about your propane! Don’t turn on both bottles at once, hook them both up but leave one turned off so you’re not having to change out two bottles in the middle of the night if it goes out and you’re unaware they’re low, this way you just run out in the night and turn on the full one until morning! Be sure to light the one range burner, when changing out bottles or turning on a new bottle to release air in line otherwise your furnace heat may not ignite. I have 4 bottles at all times, two in the hole and two on the ground or in my truck to get filled! Do what ya want, but this was a good lesson for y’all! Y’all got this! Happy Camping! I’ve lived in my 37’ for 12yrs and learned a lot about my RV 5th wheel since it’s a ‘96 Carriage and they are not made any longer, best RV ever made, by the Amish! ❤️👍🥰

One the other hand, beware of the Bradford pear trees. They are weak trees because of their structure...the deep joints give way to the wind in storms etc. They will also seed themselves all over your property and cause great troubles for you. Plus they have horrible thorns on them...I've met them personally! I am so happy for you two. I am a plant nerd. You're on your way with the plant id app! Enjoy! God bless you.

The daffodils and irises may have been planted by the original owners. The bulbs will multiply and spread. They are such an awesome first flower and sign of spring. You go through a lot of propane when it gets cold in a camper. Glad you have a backup to your backup. You can always use a 20 lb tank on the homestead. It’s a bummer you need to wait so long for a well to be drilled but you will be able to do other projects on the homestead. You are not lacking projects 😂. Packing and moving to a storage unit is a lot of work. Take time to relax and recharge. Thanks for the update. ❤️🌷🌸

Bradford pears are invasive, their smell when blooming isn't a good one, they're pollinated by flies because of their rotten stench. Ah that's why I had a few small electric heaters. Plus it is very expensive to run your furnace. It burns through propane super fast. If you are going to be full timing for another winter, I would definitely recommend buying a huge propane tank and bypass the small ones. Or since I traveled alone and they are huge and heavy, I just bought 2 small electric heaters that worked great. Some but one large electric heater. My camper is a 5th wheel, 38'. I ran my fireplace in the one half and small electric heater in the bedroom at night and it was perfect. If I got super cold, I turned my furnace on, got it really warm fast and turned it off and let the electric heaters run to maintain the warmth.

They aren't WILD daffodils. They're naturalized daffodils. Someone planted them at some point and they have survived and multiplied and "migrated" away from their original locations a bit. Lots of bulbs will do that. Plant some crocus, tulips and snowdrops and next spring you'll have them bloom...they are a harbinger of spring. Iris don't bloom until a bit later. I love big beds of multi colored daylilies. Spring is one of my favorite seasons because of all the blooms and new growth. Enjoy learning all that your property has to offer. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

There are 2 new videos - one on Sonne Farms & the other on Arms Family that might be helpful to you - both are about clearing the small trees & thick brush. Each are using a different attachment to a skid steer, both do a great job. Be worth checking if rental or hiring someone is available in your area. Makes quick work & provide ground feeding mulch, as it decomposes. Not sure how long you’re going to be in camper, would it possible/less expensive to get a 250 or 500 gal tank brought to the farm? Kevin at Hidden Heights did a video not to long ago on how to refill smaller tanks off the larger one (like for a small Coleman camper grill). Turtle soup is good! But their head comes out a lot further than you think! LOL God bless you both on your new adventure!

I've spent the past 22 winters in my park model RV. I've even had the pipes in the RV freeze a few times. If you have pex plumbing it probably won't burst but it's never fun to have frozen pipes. If you are going to be in the "camper" next winter you may want to get a couple of 100 lb tanks, or if you are out at your new place get a 100 gal or larger tank. Personally, I gave up on propane years ago because I don't like the thought of explosions, carbon monoxide poisoning, or propane leaks. I just heat with a couple of space heaters, (never on extension cords,) cook with the microwave, convection oven and induction cooktop.

Daffodil and narcissus both beautiful flowers. There's a lot more colour variety's in the narcissus but it's splitting hairs. You are doing great. Camper life will soon be a distant memory and you'll be living on your own piece of heaven without crippling debt. Keep aiming for the stars.
