I love my state I live in, West Virginia. We have some amazing wild trout streams but we do not have any lakes that contain trout all year which is a bummer. The state stocks lakes and ponds in the colder months and there are pay to fish lakes. I’m patiently waiting for the fall stockings. Great content, thanks!!! Are these trout stocked or do they reproduce? Thanks!!!

The bows are stocked here in Utah in big lakes. But they usually last throughout the summer in the bigger body’s of water. It gets really slow here in the warmer months targeting trout but dwr stocks trout at least 1 time a month during summer in most water

Also I’ve seen a lot of videos about wild trout fishing in wv, and I gotta say I wanna travel out there and hit the creeks soon. Very reminiscent of utahs native trout streams

I was fishing an intermediate in the morning and only letting it get below the surface film. Later I put on my sweep 6 line and was fishing down to 25 feet.
