@fatlarry1613 жыл бұрын
@@dfquartzidn6151 fun fact! That would be a termite queen! the average termite queen can live around 17 years, while some have been known to live up to 50! Imagine being trapped alone in a room, guarded by the malevolent matriarch that is the termite queen! You just want to get to class, but she won't let you. Thousands of tiny termites swarm you with every move you make, you try to inch your way out but they swarm your feet... it becomes impossible to traverse the room without wading through a sea of termites. The minutes turn to hours, turn to days, turn to weeks... or has it? You can't remember. Time has no meaning. You've finally had enough, you sprint directly to the door, termites be damned! But they quickly surround you, crawling up your legs, making their way up your spine as they swarm you, biting and gnawing you as your vision goes black. You wake up at the other side of the room, the only thing between you and the door is termites. They keep bringing you food, you don't know where they get it, but it seems they just won't let you die. 50 years pass and the termite queen dies, the termites disperse and you realize you're free... but the termite queen got what she wanted. You're now a 68 year old with no life experience, education, or saved funds. "Enjoy being homeless" you can almost hear her chant from beyond the grave. "Why would a sentient creature do that to somebody else?!" You say to yourself as if anybody can actually hear you in the long abandoned halls of your local community college. "It just seems so needlessly cruel, there's just no gain! Now my life has been wasted but for what? At the cost of your own life it all seems so pointless!" But your words fall on deaf ears, for the first time in 50 years... you're alone.

Then they all decide to video call the student to help them overcome the hardship through sheer power of friendship, and we get YuGiOh-like reaction shots of the teacher and the classmates nervously analyzing the moves of both parties and trying to figure out a way for our protagonist to survive the seemingly impossible challenge from fate itself. Halfway through the battle, the teacher gives us an emotional flashback of when they found themselves in the same situation and managed to overcome it thanks to their friends' support, so they cheer up the protagonist together with the other students, allowing them to finally find the courage to face their fears and defeat their childhood arch-nemesis forever (read: until the writers run out of ideas for a sequel)

@voxvolhynia54003 жыл бұрын
I'm an insectophobe who currently has 5 stink bugs that entered my room through some secret void portal that I don't know about, despite all of my windows being closed and covered and me leaving no trace of food anywhere near my room. They fly into my neck sometimes and I jump every single time. Other times they land on my light and there's this massive shadow of a beetle cast on the wall in front of me and I leave my body for a few seconds. Sometimes I re-enter, but I know what's waiting for me so I'm in no rush. Sometimes I think I'm less afraid of being mugged or held at gunpoint than I am of these utterly harmless, small creatures. I wouldn't say they're completely harmless, though, since I'm convinced my death will be of a heart attack from a heavy spider or beetle falling on my face right as I'm falling asleep. There was an abnormally large wasp in my room earlier this year, and I was powerless against its dominance. Truly, I am the bottom of the food chain, and have let humanity down.

I don't have a fear of them quite this strong and I grew up around bugs so I have gotten somewhat used to it.. even still, I have a mini heart attack every time they crash into me or when a spider lowers itself beside me when I'm in the shower or the car, etc. I also don't like most bugs that fly because I have a massive disadvantage there, if I view this objectively, because I cannot fly nor can I see them well when they fly.... Its just better if they stay outside but idk how to keep them there... Especially wasps and bees.. they love to randomly appear inside my bathroom.. No thank youuuuuuu

I remember one time I was taking a shit and a roach decided to visit the bathroom. I spent the whole time laser focused on that little shit making sure it doesn't suddenly disappear and jumpscare me later. That probably was the longest shit I felt I have ever taken in my entire life.

Same thing happened to me, and i SWEAR that damned roach was looking directly at me, but i also saved a roach once and none has tried to attack me since; i'm now blessed with the protection of the roach clan

This reminds me of my first boss. Worked there for two years, had pretty shit mental health coz of a relationship. Started off me sending him texts all proper about me potentially being late. Then near the end of the two years I'd just text him "Not coming in today", no explanation, no nothing. He'd always respond with a gif, and that'd be it. I was good friends with him, I knew most of what he did, then one Monday he text me "Not coming in today. Good luck." along with the login details for his PC. All I had to do to do his job was give 1 on 1 meetings and update excel sheets. I hope he's well.
