Hoppip whisper keys and resonant keys. You flick them with practices for certain notes and that's how you jump octaves.

That bassoon embouchure is what dreams are made of
@jazzbassoonpaul6 жыл бұрын
I don't know about that! I'm sorry I wasn't more stable with that embouchure-I was just getting carried away. I can definitely do the same thing with a more classically structured embouchure that looks a lot less like a hamster drinking water-as it does here!

hey max, what do you mean by "pickup for my bocal"? so whats a pickup? is it the "effect maker"? :D and how is the effect controlled? with a pedal or sth?
@maxderman4476 жыл бұрын
I have the "Little Jake" Pickup from Forrests Music. You can look it up but it's basically a bocal mod for the bassoon to be plugged in to an amp like a guitar would be. You'd need pedals or synths to get the effects. Hope this helps!

oh yes indeed. This is a dotted eighth note delay-I play eighth notes and the delay plays the delay of my note. A very common electric guitar thing-just ask The Edge.

It's two people improvising on the oboe, bassoon,contrabass on some John Coltrane songs in a Jazz and otherwise free style.The first piece was done using electronics to keep that backing Melody going.The rest was just straight horns.It is what it is.
