Nice score. Competition Orange looks really great on these cars. I just got a V6 too (what I wanted) but it's a faded Laser Red, best red Ford used by also the most faded and can't really be duplicated unless I want to spend $6000 and that ain't happening!

@@iworkhard2013 man I would love to get ahold of a Mystichrome, they are my fav. I had an 04 Screaming Yellow convertible Terminator a while back, loved it. Yeah and access to a warehouse of parts. A 2v with under 50k miles can be had for well under 10k. I bought a 2003 GT for 8 grand with 43k miles. Original owner garaged. Navy Blue tan leather. The 2v is a solid motor. I drive them in taxi’s with 300k miles. It is what it is. Restoring these cars is not financially sound. A good paint job will be well above 8 grand

I have a similar story with mine. I bought my 2002 GT Mustang back in 2007, I think I was the third owner. Had it for about 4 years or so. Did some basic things to it, wheels exhaust etc. then I sold it in 2011. I sort of regretted selling it after that, searched for it off and on (new owner was from out of state) and eventually found it again and bought it back. It's currently in the process of getting a coyote swap with a T-56 from a 2004 cobra (I bought the car back as a roller). But more or less I'm making the car look pretty much like it did before I sold it. It had a lot of sentimental value to me (I had the car through my first overseas deployment to Iraq). Nostalgia is a hell of a motivator lol.

I have a 2002 Mustang GT with 225,000 miles on it. It doesn't burn even a drop of oil per oil change/4-5000 miles. I just got done replacing a few coil packs, a throttle positioning sensor, a mass air flow sensor, plugs, oil, wheel bearings on the front and i picked up a set of Michelin tires with 1/2 thread on them for a whopping $40. I do everything on a budget because i just can't afford to pay out the ass for everything brand new and yet the car is in much better working condition, still with very little rust on it. It still needs a few more parts [like a new windshield, a new gas pedal throttle control sensor and maybe some suspension pieces] but i am happy with this car over all and had no idea what kind of car i was even buying when i agreed to buy it. I just needed a car and my other one [a Saturn] blew up on me]. I bought this for $100 a month payments 5 years ago and paid $2000 in total for it. Because i have health problems and the previous owner gave me a deal on it and i have no family members left, i plan on giving him back the car some day in much better condition than when i first got it. Over the months to come i will continue to replace parts like the windshield and suspension as i can get to them in rather slow fashion and someday he most certainly won't regret giving me a good deal on this car as for the fact that he will get it back free and clear in such better condition. I would post a pic of it if i could but you tube don't allow pics here. It looks almost identical to this car!

I absolutely love what you've done with the car however the only thing that I would have changed was the headlights... I have HIDs in my car I did have the factory halogens but the reason that I went with the HIDs is because the factory halogens weren't bright enough and unfortunately I ended up wrecking the front end of my car so I had to have the front end of my car refurbished when I ended up wrecking the front end of my car I actually blew the airbags I decided not to put the airbags back in because it's a muscle car I took the original steering wheel out because it reminded me too much of my truck and I put a three spoke steering wheel in it... I like the three spokes steering wheel because it looks more like the mustang should look... The reason that I did not put the airbags back in I opted out on the airbags is because it's a muscle/sports car it's a V6 3.9 L with a 5-speed manual transmission... Does it have the power of a 5.0 dual cam dual valve? No it does not but she will let you know she's a pony 🐎 now as far as the headlights are concerned if I were you and this is just a suggestion put a set of HIDs in it get a hold of SW lights the guy's name is Sean Wicca he does fantastic work and you can custom make the lights anyway you want them mine were $1,008 dollars but it didn't buy them all at once he actually let me make payments on them and then he sent them to me when you were paid off... I'm telling you I love my lights... It is a complete difference between night and day literally... Yes they are expensive but I'm telling you they are worth their weight in gold much better than those halogens... People do do this but it is actually against the law you can buy HIDs to put in your factory globes but know this it is against the law to have HIDs in your factory globes you must have a projector style globe to put HIDs in as long as you have a projector style globe those are not against the law... Like I said they are more expensive but they are well worth their weight in gold

I had an 04GT and now a 14GT and I sorta miss my 04. The SN95s get crapped on for lack of power but once you get over not winning races they are great first fun cars. Reliable and plenty quick. My 04 sounded 10x better than my 14 lol. And they noticeable weigh a lot less when you drive them. I actually miss mine and actually found my 14 looking for a mach1.

Dude u can make a new edge quick fairly easy. Just because it dont run 12s from the factory don't mean it can't go 11s or 12s with minor work even na. With boost you can go 10s stock driveline it's been done many times. The problem is everyone judges stuff by horsepower and not how it performs there is alot more to a quick car than how much hp does it have. I have seen new edges go 10s with just over 400 rwhp. They weren't gutted either.

I have a Mineral Grey 01 GT that I built for autocross/roadcourse/canyon carving fun. The brake upgrade to the Cobra/Mach 1 style and a short throw shifter have to be my favorite mods as far as driveability goes. I had a deer choose my car as method of suicide and I had to replace the hood, bumper, and driver fender. Would you believe I actually saw someone with a 2001 mustang bullet with the highland green and it HAD a SPOILER that they obviously had installed, because the bullets came without the spoiler. Looked horrible. But this comp orange looks awesome. The only thing I think you should have kept was that special looking gas cap that you had on the car, like the bullet. It's Highly modded everywhere for road course tracking if not racing and looks somewhat stock kinda like a 2000R on steroids but with a lot more performance. Many parts purchased thru LMR, MMM, Steeda, Summit to name just a few... The car is still purposely street legal Haltech ECU with Auto Blip going in presently to help manage engine HP and then it going thru the drive train more effectively keeping the car/tires hooked Up. Aero had to be quite seriously addressed too hence 2000R on steroids and hopefully not too "ricey". Lastly, need to address an ABS upgrade based on hopefully 200 to 40 treadwear tires
