Hey everybody! Here's the next episode of Brewster's Millions Of Rants with The Stranger Things Guitar Workout. I had the idea for this lesson while recently binging Season 4 of Stranger Things. As I watched, I sat on the couch with a guitar in my hands and practiced exercises/scales unplugged. As the episodes passed, I couldn't help but begin playing along with the theme music from the show and that haunting flowing arpeggio figure. The next thing I knew, I got carried away with a plethora of variations/ideas based on the theme, which is the basis behind this entire episode - so let's dive in!
Aside from revealing how to play the Stranger Things Theme on guitar, this episode also explores moving that familiar flowing arpeggio through a series of fretboard expanding fingering variations, as well as moving it through the Circle Of Fifths. Both of these ideas are shared/included in this lesson. This complete workout will challenge your fretting/picking hands, not to mention moving these ideas all over the fretboard to include other positions, fingering combinations, string groups, and more.
If you've been searching for an accurate way of how to play this popular theme music on the guitar, along with some general ideas that will help expand your technique and musical mind by exploring the guitar fretboard, arpeggios, fingering variations, flowing legato phrasing, the Circle of Fifths, and much more - this lesson is totally for you!
