Wow! That's crazy to think about and honestly makes me a little ticked at Ozzy, as Jake felt he had a great gig with the band until he learned how much control Sharon had over the legal side of things and how little control he actually had. When I read those stories of how he was pressured into signing contacts and agreements and those threats about "another guitarist" coming in to "record his parts" if he refused to sign made me mad. But I could honestly see how that happened and the greed that both Ozzy and Sharon had/have with music and all that money. It's a shame really, but it happens all the time. Rock on and thanks for watching! : )

I always thought one of the cool things about this solo was the fact that it was accompanied. Jake can handle himself just fine unaccompanied, as anyone who's seen him doing his solo after "Killer of Giants" on The Ultimate Ozzy concert can attest. But it just works so well here, the key changes in the song, the whole thing. Very cool. And it keeps the momentum of the show going. I played in the L.A. metal scene in the 80s on the Sunset Strip, and unless you were Paul Gilbert and in a headlining band like Racer X you couldn't get away with doing anything unaccompanied. I wonder if Jake worked in his solos like this when he was playing in Ratt, Rough Cutt, or Greg Leon's Invasion.
