The only problem with that is then there will be only one political party in this country, which is exactly what we don't need or want. We have gone to war to help those that were suppressed and eliminated under a single party rule. It is not in our, America's, best interest to have only a one party system. Monarchs, dictators, etc etc operate that way and we bled to remove ourselves from that rule. Be careful what you hope for, the checks and balances, although not having been working too well lately, are in place for a reason. With a two party system, as crazy as it seems, it tends to keep us on a fairly even keel. That is why our Constitution and the Bill of Rights were drafted and used as the basis of our government, the give us a foundation upon which we can survive this time of crisis. Of course the those highly educated oxygen thieves we have in our Congress will have to uphold their oath of office and abide by and defend the Constitution before it will work. Now there is a dream for you, dream, hope, pray and somehow force the Congress to the job they were elected to do.

Impeachment won't take him down, though. First, the House would have to approve articles of impeachment. With the House under control of Democrats, this shouldn't be overly difficult.
