Akasathinte Niram (English: Colour of Sky) is a Malayalam film written and directed by Dr. Biju. The film was shot entirely on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands with a cast that includes Indrajith, Nedumudi Venu, Amala Paul and Prithviraj. The film revolves around a burglar who is trapped on a scarcely populated island and his getting to understand how nature blends with life. It premiered at the Shanghai International Film Festival in June 2012. It was subsequently screened at various film festivals where it received several honours.

Nedumudi Veno is coming up with gems after gems! I saw avarude ravukal the other day, venu was fantastic. I always felt for almost 20 yrs he was stuck with horrible roles (always the helpless father or a thirumeni etc) . So stupid. But during the 80s, he had tremendous roles. And after a longgggg time, now he is coming up with one after another good ones! Not hard loud dialogues, but powerful silent mannerisms and soft lines that hit your heart. Very happy! finally he is getting something worthwhile (also a bit scared, cos when a man like venu comes up with great roles repeatedly, you feel if the end is near!). Paavam, kore kettu , kore sahichu, but never responded. He deserves much more, early 80s he was praised by every single actor and actresses from kerala and tamilnadu. Keep going sir! We need much more from you and pls stop that helpless ayo pavam roles forever! We need gems from you like this!
