For any foreigner who is looking to to buy combo in the Philippines. Here is what I learned yesterday. NO washing machine in the Philippines uses hot water to wash. If is a combo, it dries using tumble action to dry, not heat. One cycle could take up to 5 hours. Lots of clothes? Think of how much electricity it could use and how fast it will fail if it is used so much. We bought a set of washer dryer. We brought a washer from the USA (supposed high reliability Maytag) and it failed after 5 years. 115vac using a transformer. My suggestion: don’t. BTW: Abeson in Ayala mall sales people don’t understand whay a combo unit is when they are supposed to be an authorized dealer.
