I feel people don't realize that Barry didn't know how to control his powers, let alone go back in time, however, he still decided to run towards an explosion instead of running away from it. Each step was a leap of faith. That alone makes his speed-force scene so much important, because that is what heroes do, push forward even in the face of danger.

Well, he really did know. He said to himself, "you gotta break the rule Barry". Meaning, he's not supposed to reverse time because of the consequences that comes with it. There just was no other way.

He knew cause he had to run faster then the speed of light too reverse time just like with resurrecting Superman. But still he was running towards the explosion not sure if he had enough speed to reverse time cause of his injury. He was literally running on the edge of the explosion. But the meaning behind it is heroic indeed.

It amazes me that the whole time travel sequence was almost left on the editing room floor. Glad Zack Snyder gave that little flower some sunshine. The fact Warner allowed the other one to be released the way that Joss cut it..... I do not think I could hate a studio anymore than I hate Warner this moment honestly.

You gits act like Whedon is a bad guy in this scenario. He's not. Warner Bros. wanted a shorter, more streamlined film with more humor. That's what they were going to release no matter who took up the directing reins whether it was Whedon or someone else.

I wouldn't say I felt bad for Steppenwolf, he was a murderous piece of shit, but this version allowed me to understand his motivations more than in that atrocity of a movie Joss Weadon butchered and released. In this version you see why Steppenwolf is there and why he is so desperate to conquer Earth. In the other version he just sorta shows up and starts wreaking havoc looking for the mother boxes, but its never fully flushed out why he is so desperate to obtain them and what the full reason is for him wanting to find them. I definitely didn't feel bad for him tho

I love this movie bruh, I love the focus Snyder gives to being a team and not being alone through cyborg, much more impactful than any other team up superhero movie imo. WB has got to be one of the most stupid com out there to not at give zack snyder some sort of role for DC properties, we fans clearly love his vision and we want him involved in the DCEU, the success of the Snyder cut is a testament to that and yet they are officially moving on lol. Hopefully the next DC projects don't flop, hopefully they are fire cuz if not WB is gonna have a mess AGAIN in their hands.

I think the Barry at the end Knightmare scenario is the same one that came to him in his dream in BvS, telling him that Lois Lane is the key. I also think that these "Knightmares" are him really experiencing alternate timelines where they screw it up by letting Lois die (especially a pregnant Lois because she was carry a baby basket in that one scene), causing Superman to join forces with Darkseid, and destroy the Justice League, conquering the planet.

Prior to watching it the first time, I marathoned through all 5 parts of this story. I went through Man Of Steel, Batman v Superman Ultimate edition, Suicide Squad extended edition, and Wonder Woman. Since then I've watched it almost 3 full times. Steppenwolf was wrecking Amazons, Atlantians, and the rest of the league but got BODIED by Clark, which was AMAZING. My one nitpick in a 4 hour magnum opus is during his first invasion, he was Prince Uxas from Apokolips not actually Darkseid. So after Crisis on Infinite Earths in the Arrowverse we got a mention of Anti-Life. If we follow Multiverse rules, that makes it 4 attempts to conquer Earth in live action (Smallville season 10, Uxas invasion, Knightmare and Arrowverse, hell one couldargue they'reall the same Darkseid). I'm so here for it. As has been stated, we were robbed in 2017(especially with Joker). In less than 2 years we've gotten Darkseid and Crisis. Also last time Dafoe and Simmons were together in a film, Dafoe was choking Simmons out in the office of a newspaper

More scenes with Barry Allen using abilities were amazing including his slow motion while circling around the perimeter. The backstory of Victor Stone/Cyborg made a lot of sense on how he became who he was. The ending fight was great.

I would have loved if in the knightmare sequence, either before or after Superman arrived and his eyes turned red, Batman turned to Barry and said, "Run, Barry, Run!" and thus, setting up the connection further to that moment in BvS. Batman flying out of his Batmobile also reminded me of Die Hard 2. Snyder said he shot an ending with Green Lantern in his backyard but when the higher-ups saw it, they told him to not use it because they have future plans with Green Lantern. So, Snyder subsequently changed it to Martian Manhunter. My question now, though, is if this Snyder cut is not canon and is now separate from the DCEU, then why didn't Snyder just put the Green Lantern shot back in instead, unless it would've been too hard to do and complete with too much CGI required?? I mean, I assume that ending shot was part of the reshoots. Oh well. I actually liked the theatrical Justice League despite is obvious flaws and bad jokes. But, after seeing the Snyder cut 2 x's now, I am now even more angry at both WB & Whedon for robbing us of what could have been. In fact, from what I read, even Ayer's Suicide Squad could have had Steppenwolf & Parademons in it & been consequently so much stronger for it. I will never understand Joss Whedon's rationale for removing so many of the good parts. Ray Fisher said Whedon even kept dissing Snyder on-set. I am so sad we will never get to see what Batfleck's own solo Batman movie could've been like. I am especially going to miss seeing this Batmobile. I think Batfleck's Batmobile is probably the best one so far. I love how each JL character had their own part to play in the battle. Each battle, including the climactic battle had much more weight to it and now makes me more excited for The Flash movie. I mean, I can understand how Justice League could perhaps be trimmed to 3 hours, but it needs at least 3 hours to the characters & story justice. I hope people now see Man of Steel & BvS in a new light now because of this movie. I will never forgive WB for royally screwing over Zack Snyder the way they did, first with BvS & then JL. I will also never understand why mostly all the parts Amy Adams were in got cut out of both theatrical cuts of BvS & JL. This makes me want to see Snyder's original 4-hour cut of BvS even much more than I did before and see how that might connect to this Justice League even better. Snyder said the 4-hour cut had much bigger emotional arcs for each character. I wonder if The Flash movie will reference that Barry/Iris moment when he saved her or if we'll see any consequences to Barry going back in time? The theatrical cut did not have Barry going back in time. So, is that not canon then too?? I hope we do not get the corny Flash from the theatrical cut.

The Best comparison I've seen for Synder's 3 movies is the theatrical Lord of The Rings. And the Synder Cut is the Director's Cut of LOTR. The connections of how each film flows into the next makes this a trilogy in the truest sense. They cinematic scope of the first battle with Darkseid is very LOTR-ish. Some of the camera work looks like a deliberate homage to the LOTR movies. I really liked how everything meshed together in the end of Synder's vision. I wish there was more coming, but I wished the same thing with Jackson and got The Hobbit trilogy instead. lol

"TIME" is smth a vision needs. yet it is smth WB hates. Snyder had a family tragedy in the mix as well. they just kicked him out, after he asked for a bit of time to heal. looking at the knightmare scenes, barry is the key for them to beat darkseid so I reckoned that bruce will tell him to run back in time again while they hold superman off so he doesn’t stop him but it obviously doesn’t work however barry escapes in time and they do this because I think that’s how they know which locations aren’t safe, unfortunately I think if there is to be a justice league 2 and they continue the knightmare scenes then eventually barry will be killed and they’ll have their endgame so only one chance to find a way to defeat darkseid

For starters, this movie is an order of magnitude better than the 2017 version, full stop. Everything about it, except for the length, was better. Not all of it was optimal, but all of it was better. . That said, I'm still firmly convinced that this movie could've still been cut down to 3 hours, and been just as good, if not a bit better because of improved flow and pacing (and shorter runtime). I've seen some scene comparisons of the two versions, and there are a lot of places where certain scenes were extended for no real reason. It's not a lot of time, but it still could've been shortened, and with so many such scenes, it would add up to quite a bit. The scene of the truck driver dropping his burger and reaching for it...did not need to be as long as it was. It only needed to be [drop burger, reach for burger, crash], that's it. It does, after all, take only a fraction of a second of your eyes off the road for shit to go horribly wrong while driving. Many scenes fall into that category to one extent or another. . Then there are scenes which, while helpful, weren't actually necessary. The scene with Alfred and Superman...not really necessary. Not useless, but not so helpful that removing it would cause any kind of trouble at all. Most of the Epilogue too, could've gone. Cool to include, but not explicitly required. . I don't mind any of it at all, but it still could've been done, and I think it's important to note that shortening it wasn't necessarily the main failing of the 2017 version, but just cutting it the wrong way, and doing all those stupid reshoots that didn't help anything at all.

@@chelle4757 There was a clarification shortly afterward. They didn't say it WAS going to happen, but they didn't say it wasn't either. Basically, the door is open...but only for HBOMax.
