I also lived in a closet as well. We didn’t have enough rooms in our house. Me and my sister shared a room until I was 10 because by then my sister was already in 10th grade. My older sister got to keep that room and I was kicked out, she didn’t want to share the room with me because we had too much of an age gap, but I understood where she was coming from, so I didn’t complain. The only “room” that was left was the closet in the master bedroom, my parents bought a mattress (without the actual bed) and put it on the floor and I slept in there for 7 years until my sister got married and moved out, now I’m sleeping in my own room, I finally got a real room at the age of 17 lol.
