I have tried the launch off. It is pretty wonky. And if you have the tnt ready to print, it will print it with the drone while attached to the factory, so kind of pointless. Just have the tnt attaches if you are going to do that. Heaters work to get rid of spare parts.

Why not have a separate Factory Build a Heater when you press the Eject button, or the TNT for that matter? Then you'll be building a factory that builds the TNT without building the TNT... Probably.

The idea you came up with a few episodes back, the supercapacitor recharge cell would be great on the satellite, as it would allow you to cram tonnes of weapons with an automatic refill. It would also add an element of fun with the device having a certain amount of cooldown before refiring, like a true orbital destruction cannon.

If you don't change the satellite strike thing, then maybe to deal with the underground problem you could have a sort of digging drone to make a hole in the ground for the missiles to go through, like have a factory block spawn drones that dig through the ground, and maybe explode when not needed

You can add a second directional sensor which is rotated by 90 degrees and also tracks the mouse. This sensor controlls up down thrusters which allows the drone to follow the x and y position of the mouse

What if you gave the satellite 2 modes, the norma one (you see here) and a mode that enables digging weapons attached to it to activate, and the drone digs down to your position, at which point, when you are done with it, you can press another button and it digs a path back up to satellite mode?

Why do you keep testing the weapons? You can use the small window while editing the weapon! It even works for homing and things that you don't have unlocked! :D

As far as the heatseaking and homing missiles what If the turning problem is air resistance? Maybe test adding the reduced air resistance upgrades as a test

I've tested this and as far as i've seen air resistance has little to no impact on the rockets, only the Rocket Force has considerable impact on its homing capability, reducing or increasing rocket force reduces or increases its speed in both thrust and turning.

19:30 The overshooting problem can be solved by having two rotation sensors. One with a ~40 degree tolerance that activates all the thrusters and one that has a much smaller ~10 degree tolerance but only activates a couple small thrusters. I needed this for my cursor steering drone, otherwise the whole thing would swing back and forth constantly >.>

Cluster has a larger level of devastation. What you really need to make is mini power satellites to spam via factory, that way you'll have a modular arsenal, because you can always just build more power generation and just let it float around altitude 50. Another good drone would be the Mini Drill Gravity Drone, just set it's Altimeter to -1 and it will Drill all the way to the Core, just remember to attach a Cooler to it in case it finds an Enemy down there, which, let's be honest, you'll be firing them at for at least 20 minutes, probably accompanied by Drill puns, but, that's okay, because, again; *We're the good guys*. You can attach the Factories to the Top and bottom of the Rocket Satellite Drone, if you don't make the Rocket Satellite Drone a micro Drone as well, which would be equally as awesome, because then the Factory Drone could hover at 40, Build Energy Satellites that hover at 50 and Rocket Drones that hover at 30. You'll want to have the Drill Drones coming out of the bottom of the Rocket Drones though. Just attach the drones to your left when you Build it, so you have plenty of vertical Room to work. The result would be a vast reduction in the number of Blocks your vehicle is considered having. For example: only 1 gun, so you'll have a drone that only has 1 gun, and just spam that until you have an Armada.

Hey lathrix...I got Nimbatus after following this series from you and just last night I made a drone sort of like this. Try placing the drone core sensor on the surface drone and the core on the orbital...if the surface drone dies you can essentially respawn at a position close by and drop in. XD Its amazing against snake eggs.

Maybe the homing rockets dont follow the mouse quickly because of their initial velocity so they can turn as fast, i think saw an upgrade that slows the rocket speed. This is similar to how, if you go too fast when driving you cant take very sharp turns. I hope this helps. Also i love your vids ^-^

They should add fun guns fun guns can have any amount of upgrades but when using them you harvest or do quest also you can use upgrades that usually wouldnt work on the fun guns like laser upgrades on blaster would somehow work

not easily possible, the sensor follows the drone core, and it would become unstable if the drone followed the mouse, since it would continually go in one direction if the camera block was destroyed.

Well, it could be done if the player would place the cursor at the bottom of the screen before creating a drone or by the use of logic gates. 2 ANDs (1 for each side), and a "toggle thingy" (don't remember how it's called, sorry). If the player presses the self destruct button, the heaters activate, destroying the old surface drone, and that same command toggles the "toggle thingy" to turn off, and so, the thrusters don't work, because they are listening for the outputs of the AND gates, wich don't output anything? because the the "toggle thingy" is of. So until the player deploys the surface drone or moves the satellite manually, it will be completely stationary. Oh, and add to that an OR gate, wich will be connected to the "toggle thingy" and will listen to the Deploy and Self Destruct buttons. Phew... I hope I didn't miss anything...

True, you have the firepower to dig through a planet in 20 seconds, an enemy that can tank like 2 seconds of damage would be nice ... But not all of them, otherwise you would be forced to do those weapon spam bots. Also, a more sniper-like weapon, and an enemy with a small weak spot would make for an interesting fight...

what if you make a fully mouse controlled drone, using a rotated mouse tracker for vertical, and a normal mouse tracker for horizontal, that way you could have a drone that always hovered on your cursor, i could see that being useful fro kamikaze type drones. or maybe you could have a some logic setup that controls the height of the satellite which could be useful and perhaps even used to bring it underground with you... anyway, cool idea and glorious execution (of your enemies that is!)
