Vegetarians or meat free nights - feel free to replace the meat with any fleshy/substantial vegetables (cauliflower, soya chunks, paneer, tofu) as you'll still get the great flavour. Heck the sauce itself is a gem. I'm a British born Punjabi and your BIR is becoming more and more Desi (traditional homegrown)... Which is an awesome thing in my books. Keep passing on the foodology knowledge my brother and respect going out to you each and every time.

Another fantastic recipe. What I would do differently (as it was too spicy for me) is only use 2 Kashmiri Peppers and add the whole 11:38 garlic when I add the chicken as mine went to mush. I also de-seeded the green chilies. Honestly such beautiful flavours and aromatics in this dish. Thank you!

Thanks for the recipe and video - I cooked this for my family at the weekend and it was VERY well received! I had to omit the chilis as my partner doesn't like food that is too spicy, but I used hot chili powder which gave it enough of a kick. It's hard to find kashmiri chili powder locally so is it okay to substitute paprika (you did mention this in the video, but didn't seem keen) in order to give the colour - will it change the flavour?

I’ve been watching several of your ‘One Pot’ dishes, which I think is a wonderful addition and a significant shift away from the true restaurant ‘you need gravy’-style of cooking since, ordinarily, I’m not cooking for 20, 30, or even 50 people. Maybe, I just don’t have many friends. Anyway, having watched your episodes, I do note that many of the ingredients, spices and so on are the same across your one pot dishes and I fear, is there a danger that they might taste all the same? By the way, I did cook the one pot Chicken Bhuna - utterly yum, and am looking forward to cooking the Garlic Chilli Chicken! Best wishes Dean.

Latif, are the people of India and Pakistan always eat with this amount of spices like coriander, kashmiri chili, turmeric, cumin garam masala etc. in their day to day meals? I made many of your recipes, they are really really good (daal bhuna is my favorite), i love eating indian/pakistan food but i could not eat them everyday, its too tough for me to digest so much spices even with the help of naan bread(i make my own) and yoghurts/sour cream. This one has me sitting on the fence. Latif, have I missed something? I think I made it pretty much as your video, but it was not oozing with a garlic flavour (due to whole cloves I'm sure). However, on the plus side, really fiery and deep taste. But here's the dilema. Would you agree that the Lahori Chicken Karahi, which you should rename as a One Pot, (just been copied almost identically by Al's Kitchen, but with yoghurt) is a stage further up the line of supreme curries than this one? I'm not sure this would make your personal top 5? Feedback please!
