I just made this. I followed every step exactly. I now have a freezer full of base gravy and Latifs puree. If I had ordered this from a takeaway or restaurant I would be recommending the place to everyone... And I made it myself! Thank you Sir.

I have many Indian cookbooks and a good supply of the spices. I'm always making dishes as Indian food is my favorite. The books are wonderful but not as good as watching your channel. You have taught me so much and my food is getting much better; it's starting to become more of a natural process for me!

I was only in your restaurant on Sunday evening, we moved away in February but we used to visit all the time and we made the journey as it is our favourite place to eat and was not disappointed. The food is the best Indian food I have ever eaten. I had the south Indian lamb and my mrs had the mango chicken. My kids also loved the food. This guy and his team can cook amazing food. And my partner would love to see a recipe for the mango chicken in the near future.

I’ve been making this dish a lot with plain chicken and absolutely love it! Instead of a normal tomato, throw in a few fresh chopped cherry tomatoes for the sweetnesses. I also like to cut back on the chilli powder and chuck one or two green chillis in, for a better flavour 👍🏻 Pathia is my fav curry and this is right up there with the best, I’ve had!

@Kal_UpTheBoro3 жыл бұрын
Wow 17 people lol. I’m quite a novice so how did you go about altering the ingredients accordingly for more people? Obviously with cakes and things you can just double certain ingredients accordingly but when it comes to cooking with spices and some being as over powering than others... do you have a general rule of thumb to increase quantities but keeping all the flavours balanced and not overpowering?

Was that onions or something, the peppers were in the bowl on the topbit wen u tipped the peppers in, it was clear ther was another ingredient under the peppers. Looked like chopped onions?
