It is so true that Former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is a great leader some politically one-sided Filipinos never appreciated (and many hate). They solely remembered her for Hello Garci, NBN-ZTE deal and other controversies, but some have no idea how and that she actually saved the country from being affected by the 2008 Global economic crisis. I wonder what would've happened to the Philippine economy if she wasn't our leader during the recession. We badly needed an economist leader in the early 2000s.

Arroyo studied in Spain. Her father a former President, Diosdado Macapagal, also spoke Spanish very well. The father was a poor provincial boy, whose eduction was supported by his benefactor, the grandfather of Isabel Preysler. La concen? Aquino was wrong, Spanish is very important, Spanish is the second most spoken mother tongue in the world after Mandarin Chinese and every language is money and the first job possibility, without a doubt in the future they will already be regretting losing money, how many Filipinos They will be able to work in many Spanish-speaking countries but since they no longer know Spanish they can no longer access jobs where they speak Spanish, but it is not too late. Se equivoco Aquino, el español es muy importante, el español es la segunda lengua materna más hablada en el mundo después del chino mandarín y cada idioma es dinero y la primera posibilidad laboral, sin duda a futura ya se estarán lamentando perder dinero, cuantos filipinos podrán trabajar en muchos países de habla hispana pero al ya no saber español ya no pueden acceder a puestos de trabajo donde se hablar español, pero no es tarde

Unfortunately Spanish was removed from the high school curriculum in 1987. I understand why, but it would have been interesting if it had still been there when the Mexican telenovela craze came to the Philippines. Thalia was absolutely massive and I'm just guessing that the popularity of the Spanish language in the Philippines would have seen a bit of a resurgence if we still had those classes. Personally, I feel I would have enjoyed it since I'm big on history and its very important in Philippine history.

😊🇵🇭 In the Philippines, the "sy", "siy", "si", "ci", "ce" consonant and vowel combinations in Filipino and English words and in words in the other languages of and from the Philippines, most of the time, and also sometimes the "se" constant and vowel combination, are pronounced as, like or similar to the "sh" and "ti" combinations in English, when followed by a vowel or by another vowel. It is also true or the same in how we would pronounce the "si", "ci" and "ce" consonant and vowel combinations in Spanish and of Spanish words and also sometimes with "se" consonant and vowel combination. These make our dialect, variety or variant of the Spanish language called Filipino Spanish or Philippine Spanish (español filipino o español de las Filipinas) quite, somewhat or somehow unique compared to the other Spanish dialects, variants or varieties elsewhere in or around the world. This is all even aside from our pronunciation of the Spanish double 'l' or "ll" letter, digraph letter, letter combination, consonant letter or consonant letter combination as (ly) sound combination, our pronunciation of the Spanish "j" as just like the English (h) sound, our sometimes to always sounding or pronunciation of the Spanish "h" even if it is mostly or almost mostly silent in Spanish except for non-Spanish words, our sometimes interchanging pronunciation of the sounds of "e" and "i" and of "o" and "u", among other elements, characteristics or features of our accents in our own way or manner of using, speaking and pronouncing Spanish words.

The Philippines have had two female presidents. The gender equality in the Philippines is number 1 in Asia and it's on top 10 in the world. But with the new president, I just don't know. Things can change.

Filipinos recover Spanish, legalize it in their Current Constitution, since their culture has much of the Hispanic legacy and their heroes fought speaking Spanish and now they will not like that the Philippines has lost Spanish Hugs from Lima and return to the Spanish-speaking community Corazon Aquino made a serious mistake Filipinos recuperen el español, legalícenlo en su Constitución Actual, ya que su cultura tiene mucho del legado hispano y sus héroes lucharon hablando español y ahora no les gustará que Filipinas haya perdido el español. Un abrazo desde Lima y regresen a la comunidad de habla hispana. Corazón Aquino cometió un grave error
