Beeing in a german castle, drinking german beer and eating german food ... < could be worse, right?! o_O German universities are free for foreign students. As a german you have to pay a tuition feem which is a bit less than 2,8K a year. But in return you get a lot of freebies (like free public transport) and price reductions for several stuff ... < not that bad at all!

The School`s for Kids are free, but he means if you want to go to school as an adult, is also free. Maybe evening school

University is nearly free in Germany. You have to pay a little fee between 50 to 150€ per month. Add the cost for living and traveling. A typical like understatement and hate ostentation. But do not put your hands on our trees or woods! Than we can switch to the rage-mode!😁 PS: I love Lithuania...and Latvia too..😁😉 I hope to visit Riga in 2025 ore 2026..

hard to say. in comparison to other european languages, german is very hard, but internationally viewed, it's maybe in the middle of the field. i'm pretty sure russian is harder to learn then german. but this is just a guess.

I guess not for a Latvian. So, also depends a lot where you come from and which language you speak already.

@@bastyaya exactly. its all a matter of perspective. but with english you can get around germany pretty well too. most germans speak at least enough english to help you out a little. most of the younger generation is also quite fluent, because its a mandatory class in school.

Is not true. He left germany. Was stopped with a bicycle for which he could not provide proof of ownership.

Few here has papers for a bicycle, especially since many people also buy their bikes from eBay. The problem was that he had been modified his bicycle without permission and an engine had been added. This was considered an unregistered vehicle.
