I notice some people playing the Goddess Ed on amazon reviews and it sounds nothing like her? Where did you pick up yours and did you have the same issue? 👀

I bought it from Laufey's offical merch site. I've heard that as well while reading some posts on laufey fan accounts on instagram of people having that issue. Tbh part of the issue SOMETIMES is people having a not so high quality record player/amp setup, I think a smaller amount of times it would be the case of a defective vinyl disc. I personally don't own any record player or amp yet because i'm saving up for a setup that'll make my record sound the best & not scratch them up too bad as time goes on. I can't listen to them now, but i'll enjoy them later in the best quality I can eventually afford 🫡

I bought mine in Dubai, from Virgin. Was in the shop this morning, excellent service and no issue to return it. They had another copy in the shop, the sales person opened it for a potential exchange. We tried it in store and it had the exact same issue.

I just listened to it for the first time. Love Laufrey but very disappointed with this album. It sounds nothing like her. I would not recommend this one. Rather get the other version. It is most definitely not the quality of my equipment either

Interesting, yea it must be the company behind the vinyl press, some sort of error must have occurred during the process because a lot of people are having that issue.
