Thank you for this!! I watched this video hours ago, and I’m still chuckling. I came across this video because I had put “make room for laughter” on my vision board and made a goal to laugh for 5 mins a day each day this week. It was refreshing to know that I’m not the only one with this idea 😂 Here’s to laughing and bringing more brightness to life

Heya Jessica! It can help, yes. I can't guarantee a time that the "safe" signal will be activated and felt, because everyone is different, and some people feel very vulnerable and awkward (and UNsafe) laughing. One study on a 30min laughter session showed up to a 60% drop in cortisol (a stress hormone) after the session. I hope that you have been practising laughter and feeling the DOSE chemistry flood your system. The more you practice feeling good and boosting these chemicals, the more you will feel good and get used to that as a new norm.

yes, you do. I'm training to be a Laugh Yoga Instructor and you still get the physiological benefits, such a boost to your immune system and release of good endorphins :)

Yes Dante, sorry I missed this - Diane is totally right, you will still get the benefits, BUT I find that CHOOSING laughter has a much more positive psychological effect than forcing or faking laughter, as it's more empowering and allows freedom in your laughter. When you can choose to laugh, you can find your authentic and genuine laugh more easily too :)
