Pt.4: I think the energy thing is just the requirement to break the seal. That’s why Babadi prolly thought it would take hundreds of people to get the energy they got. Buu’s power was always gonna be greater than the sum of the power that broke the seal. Future Trunks prolly gets cooked and considering his situation, that’s curtains. Nobody would be there to distract Buu during that initial encounter. Shin had already trained him by the time he fought Dabura and he barely beat him. Now, we could see a similar situation to the actual story. They get help from the dead. Being dead doesn’t prevent Potara and the Kai’s seem to be able to overcome the “been dead too long issue.”

I always saw it as Babidi needing the energy to wake Buu, not that the shell was particularly strong. The shell basically just being a container for the Kai magic that kept Buu asleep. If that's the case, all that energy was just a morning coffee for Buu.

Apologies if someone already said this. If Vegeta can spirit fission Piccolo, couldn't he separate them into their 3 parts (Kami, Piccolo, and Nail) and allow them to train super efficiently? Could be a crazy hack to separate them, allow them all to train, and then allow them to re-fuse.

Pretty sure Kami was actually nearing the end of his life before he fused so depending on how close he was to death, might be a bad idea.

Pt.1: If they blew up the ship, I think Fat Buu still cooks Gohan and Vegeta due to the regen. We also never see the Fat Buu’s full power. But Goku cooks him as a dead ss3.

The seal needing so little energy to break doesn't mean it's equivalent to buu's power. For all we know the seal is weaker to outside influences than from within.

Buu would not have been released ifnthe ship was destroyed. Buu was locked in until Babbiddi's magic machine absorbed enough power. Facing all three henchmen and Babbiddi at the same time would have been difficult for the Z fighters, even without Buu.

One thing that never made sense was How would supreme Kai not know how strong the z fighters are even tho Goku straight up beat Frieza plus he somehow knew about yakon and puipui but somehow didnt know about these sleeping giants

Pt.6: if it took Babadi to put ss2 Vegeta above ss2 Goku, then Goku winning that fight in the tournament easy. Goku was leaps and bounds ahead of everyone during the tournament without having to use ss3. He either wins or he lets Gohan win. If Gohan gets past Shin. Similar to the first fight against Hit.

12:00 I think Shin was a shittier trainer. He would have gotten them above the Androids, but nowhere near their strength at the end of the series. That took more than training; it took intense suffering.

Pt.5 Gogeta vs Buu. I think Gogeta was equal to Vegito in power but the Potara gives more durability as far as the timer goes aka Potara lets u put out that energy longer. Shin and Kibito fusing with Potara didn’t put them in the stratosphere of Ultimate Gohan even though Shin was bare minimum as strong as ss2 Gohan. They should been able to one shot Gotenks. I don’t think they could lol All that say, Potara is better but don’t necessarily have to result in a more powerful being. Gogeta gets the easy dub against any Buu same way Vegito does.

Pt.2: I don’t see Shin participating in the actual fight against Vegeta. At most, he prolly heals Goku and he gets the dub that way. Pt.2/2: Again, I don’t see Shin actually fighting Frieza. I DO think instead of Guru unlocking Gohan’s potential, Shin probably does it here. Gohan was still a kid so it shouldn’t have been above Shin to do it. Then Gohan most likely beats Frieza before he goes final form.

Pt.3: Similar to part 2. Shin probably doesn’t fight. Cells not a threat to the universe as far as we know. Just Earth. Shin prolly unlocks Gohan’s potential here. Time chamber still happens. Goku doesn’t die and by the time Buu Saga rolls around he’s more even with Vegeta. Weaker than Fat Buu. Didn’t learn fusion so no Gotenks. Gohan still trains with the Z-Sword and gets the dub here. There’s no reason for that part to have to change especially considering this Gohan is probably still stronger than originally but due to not training, still weaker than Buu. They still end up breaking the Z-Sword. No Gotenks, no Buutenks. Worst case, we still get Vegito if Gohan gets absorbed OR we get Gokan.
