But as time went on I found myself falling in line with your character and how you presented yourself. You've always taken the higher ground on this platform, you've never badmouthed anyone and you've never conformed to what was popular or relevant at the time. It's actually pretty sad someone who essentially bullies others can gain almost 1 million subscribers while smaller hard working channels don't get pushed out by the algorithm. Most DB people have had some sort of negative interaction with him. I got the impression he was deeply troubled, and easy enough to ignore. But he also has/had a close discord community that would band together like a gang to spread rumors, doxx or harass people they didn't like or just felt like targeting. Mostly little angry kids, of course. We all know the type. As expected, he turned on them as well. It's just surprising it took this long to get out. It's the same general story most abusers and toxic personalities have, except he had a huge platform that served to gather them together and create even bigger issues. And since it's the DB community, a lot of creators jumped to his defense simply because of the face he let them see. Hopefully now with more visibility people will stop enabling this sort of thing, even if I've seen he still has a huge group of supporters who don't care or even want to see him continue most of his behaviors. And yes, he needs professional help. But regardless of why people like this are made, it has to stop. Young people especially love to congregate around drama and crazed personalities that they can watch from a distance and encourage anonymously, since it's not their problem. It's not just him; it's the bubble around that part of the community. Even if he vanished, it's still happening because it's allowed to happen.

Seth did the same thing to a KZbinr in the comic book community. I'll keep them unnamed because that person has long since moved on from the situation, and Seth deleted all those videos years ago so I doubt anyone would be able to find the video I'm going to mention anyway. But this was around 2015/2016 iirc. The KZbinr in question made a video along the lines of "Jiren vs The Justice League" or something like that. He also made some tweets directed at the power scaling community, pointing out how silly it was to debate who could beat who when at the end of the day, the writers of the story determine who the winner is not the character's powers. And this viewpoint is kind of an ongoing joke within the Comic Book community, specifically the Super Hero comic book community. Sure, we can debate all day if Spider-Man can beat The Hulk, but more often than not Spider-Man is going to win even though The Hulk is clearly stronger than him, because the writers are going to let the more popular character win. This is where Seth's video came in. I had never heard of SethTheProgrammer before this video, and he had a video "calling out" said Comic Book KZbinr claiming to "debunk" his arguments. So I clicked the video thinking it was going to be this interesting video explaining the nuances of the characters and their powers, but no. All it was was Seth and his friend, can't remember who but likely Chuck, personally insulting the KZbinr for around 15 or so minutes, barely discussing the actual subject of the video. And when they DID discuss it, it just boiled down to "Obviously Jiren would win, you would be an idiot to think otherwise." After watching this I just put his channel on the "Do not recommend" list on KZbin and didn't think about him again until all this controversy got brought up. Seth just seems like a very miserable person, after hearing his victims talk about how he treated them. Like he's the type of person who hates himself and his life so much that he just has to project that hatred on everyone else around him to make himself feel better or superior. Honestly not surprised in the least he got outed for stuff like this, though I do hope Seth leaves the internet and get's the help he needs through therapy, and turns his life around.

I did sense in one of his videos that he was reverting to his more ego self. I think it was a Super Hero livestream or such where he started being like I was always right like always. There I sensed maybe his ego is getting to him. He needs to find help if he wants to get out of this with some respect.

Its sad to hear about Seth, its such wasted potential honestly, whats crazy is if he had been nicer, he might have any even bigger channel then he already did, I enjoyed his outlook on the massive bloating he did in the series Dude I feel you on ssj rose. Goku black is my second favorite villian in the series, and I love ssj rose. But its multiplier is fucking wack. Is base black blue tier or 50x weaker with Vegeta supressing his power? Is ssj rose actually a ssj blue mutliplier on top of his already ridiculously strong base that is way above ssj2 goku (post god now)? ssj blue vegeta holding back that much to only be slightly weaker than ssj rose goku is ridiculous too, and its hard to say he was that much stronger then blue goku and blue vegeta either because he needed a peircing ki blade to beat them as fast as he did, and even then Goku survived a kamehema from him when immortal zumasu grabbed him from behind. I still dont know how strong base black goku should be considered, and even 50x with ssj rose seems to be a bit to much considering how well he did against blue vegeta before transforming, almost like he was already using most of his power and ssj rose just gave him an additive boost, maybe the essence of the transformation boosted his base power before the mutation process of the form took place.

I used to buy into his hype. Whenever he made that video with chuck about you, I certainly was on their side. Haven't felt that way in years, and I'm glad I changed . Like to think maybe I matured. Anyway, his debates if you even wanna call them that were never really in good faith to begin with. Yelling and talking over your opponent or insulting them or doing all of those things in some order is not a real debate, and it doesn't make someone actually intelligent. You sir, however, are soft spoken and very calm and to me you seem very intellectual. I'm sorry you dealt with all that

Im suprised you don't have a problem with the Saiyan Scholar, he will die on the rock of "GT is the best and anyone who likes super or doesn't like GT is wrong" he's also attacked fans of his who don't agree with him, it really sucks to see how toxic the Dragon Ball community can be when this series has great potential to bring others together.

It's a shame that people can't just be fans of cartoons without being toxic and unpleasant. What has American culture been reduced to? You can't even just play a video game, read a manga or a comic book without it being a drama show.

This is literally the first I've heard of all this bullshit around Seth the Programmer. I didn't even know about the way he'd been exposed. But I guess it's just a little fitting that a guy who's so obsessed with power leveling and never seemed to care much about anything else in anime or manga would be so obsessed with having power over other people and inflicting pain on them or putting them down just to feel superior.

Thanks very much for sharing your experience on the matters regarding Seth. I was always an avid fan of his content up until I was informed by you and the YT community regarding his pathetic toxicity. So given that & considering your maturity in dealing with this stuff & with how you conveyed it, you’ve gained a new subscriber & Seth will be losing me as a subscriber from here on as watching your video was the final straw that needed to be pulled for the Camel’s back to have been broken. So given that: Laughing Stock Media: 1 Seth The Programmer: 0 ✌🏼

I remember Seth and some others bullying Laughinstock in their videos back in the day, not sure if they're still up. Over the multiplier for SSJ Rose or something? Man's a sociopath who has had multiple chances to change, like when he had that falling out with Swagkage a few years ago, yet he learned nothing, and the toxic "edgy debater" environment he cultivated protected him. This was a long time coming.

It's shame because I subscribed, to him, your channel, Qaaman, and other big youtubers. I'm thinking this site is big enough for all of us to grow. Too bad cats like Seth don't see it that way, and is resorting to insults and bullying as a hail Mary attempt to to make themselves appear great. I pray that he reaches the point soon where he surrenders his life to the Most High and get deliverance from that mind set.
