New subscriber here. I’m probably one of those who were drawn by your joie de vivre. It shows through your videos. Another thing worth mentioning is how you eat your hands and how you’re not afraid to dig in. You know how to mix the entrees with the condiments and how each handful is a personalized flavor bomb. I bet your palate will never be the same after your trip in Asia. I wish nothing but success for you, Max!

Those green rice balls with Gula Melaka inside are called Ondeh Ondeh! Flavour-texture bomb. And the addition of the sesame seeds is genius. We usually only get ondeh-ondeh, kueh kosui and Nasi Lemak from baba Charlie. Their Nasi Lemak has a pretty decent sambal. And did you know that Klebang coconut shake used to be a tiny, rundown shack by the side of the road. I always try to visit the kway tiao fishball soup spot as well. Grew up eating at their previous location when we went to visit family in Melaka. Great video once again brother. I’ll be contacting you for your fav nonya restaurant in Melaka soon!

Heyyy, good to know the name! Thank you! Hmmm, I didnt realize that, but has that become the "to go" coconut shake stall? I saw there were two places to get the coconut shake from. And how can the ondeh-ondeh not be good? especially freshly cooked like that. thanks man, feel free to message me on IG or send me an email.
