Hariz Hafi Yeah the 0-60 really doesn't have too much to do with the clutch considering all of these clutches shift in less than half of a second.

The F12 gearbox shifts between 100ms-50ms the Aventador shifts in 50ms with just one clutch probably just the Germans xD Michael Klein

litterally it means small sedan but in Italy in 60's and 50's "berlinetta" was to indicate this type of sports cars, agile, fast, with front engine and rear-wheel drive, a typical vintage "berlinetta" is the Ferrari 250 GTO as you can see on Google images.

mate, I have 3 alfas, 1968, 1982 and 2003, all purring like cats and no reliability issues whatsoever. my first car was a fiat punto that did not let me down a single time and was sold with almost 300.000km on the clock. my daily driver at the minute is a bmw 335i, fun, but by far the most unreliable car I had. as for the fiat punto - fabulous car. nippy, revvy engine, sharp handling. pay some respect to italian cars. if I had the cash, I'd go for a lamborghini, maserati or ferrari in a hearbeat

Ferrari didn't make the F12 in retaliation to the Aventadorn, they made it because they have a long standing legacy of building some of the world's finest grand tourers. The F12 and Aventador were built with completely different mindsets for completely different purposes, and each car would've been built regardless of the others existence. It's like comparing apples to oranges.

Im italian, just wanted to say that the name "berlinetta" really is a diminutive of "Berlina" ( = meaning little Berlina); the berlina term was originaly used to describe a type of carriage, today the word Berlina is used to describe the medium sized cars (the so called sedan). To an italian person it sounds a little bit strange\funny (its like calling a BMW X1 literally "little suv") but when associated with the Ferrari name it reveals his old (very very elegant) meaning.

The reason why the f12 is not "technically" the competitor to the aventador is because it's considered a front-engined grand tourer instead of mid-engined sports car like the 458 and aventador.

In Italy (Especially in my Region) you can try it in Maranello, Modena and neighboring, in Emilia Romagna you can see tens of Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Pagani (very Rare) etc... And you can try it for €100 (1 hour)
