So ST+ is measuring the clubhead speed with radar, but the path and face angle are calculated. Did i understand that right?

I wanted to set up a SkyTrak+ in my house but was told I needed at least 17 ft of depth and I only had 14 ft. Is this true?

No, it's not true at all... I don't have that and it's fine. I hit into a net 6 feet in front of me and then probably only need a few feet behind me. 14 feet is plenty.

There are two key distances in length- how much room you need behind the ball for back swing, that will depend on height and your swing - and your ball speed and damping of the rebound. I have 7 feet behind and 7 feet in front and its very tight (I’m 6’5” tall). The ball does rebound back and end up behind me almost all the time when i hit driver. Its doable but takes some getting used to. You also need space behind the screen to prevent the ball from impacting the wall - i have a foot behind the wall.

I am only 5'8 so I should b more than good...lol. 2 more questions. What projector do u use and what ratio setting do u hav it on?

I was very limited in width so my screen is 10 x 10 so I have a 1/1 ratio. That is suboptimal in my opinion, but that’s the space I had. I’ve got a Ben Q projector, not sure what model and I’m not home to check for several days (sorry).
