I'm a commercial artist and I would love it if Corel would make packs of nozzles or patterns available. Adding a handful of brushes and calling it an upgrade is sad. Will it be another year before something worth paying for comes out?

LOL. Every year its like this and people keep falling for it. With Clip Studio they don't have these yearly "updates" - they just add new brushes to download from their website for free.

I was hoping to be blown away by all of the new stuff... but it's exactly the same in every way as 2018. I just wish the layer selection/move tool would friggin' work consistently... where I can select it, the move objects -- sometimes it works, other times I have to use arrow keys.

I couldn't use 2019 on my $2000 Alienware Laptop, which is a super fast gaming laptop. Each time I changed brushes, the brush would lag on the first stroke. Hopefully, that is fixed.

Would have been nice to extend your discount pricing a little longer, way to short, have not even finished the trial period yet. Not sure you have enough new features to make this upgrade worth it.

I downloaded the trial version of Painter 2019, it works with my Wacom but I have a touchscreen and even with multitouch enabled I can't paint directly on the canvas by touching the screen. I contacted with support, they emailed me back twice, one was here are your requested purchased in your cart for you sorry for the inconvenience, the other email wants me to reset my computer to factory so that essentials 6 will work 🤦🏻‍♀️...somehow I think their support is lacking...rofl....so now I don't know if it will work correctly with my system or not.

Juzel James I don't think Painter 2018 is available any more now Painter 2019 is out, or is it? I do like the update though.

They dropped the price for the full version to that of an upgrade which prompted me to buy it as I have never used it before coming from traditional media and Photoshop

This should be a free upgrade. It's pathetic for this company to try and charge a high price for almost nothing. Makes me want to go back to Photoshop. What a joke!

Try Clip Studio. Only bad thing about Clip Studio is the default UI is a bit blaoted. Take about 5 minutes and you can make the UI similar to photoshop. I stopped using Corel Painter back in 2014.
