If your mason jar dispenser things slow down, try unscrewing the top a little bit because pressure builds up and slows the liquid down a lot!

Hello! I love that you showed a realistic laundry room! Everybody has the front end loaders with the shelf over the top and the counter top for folding, cabinetry, sink, a hammock, a reading nook.. ect. I have a small laundry room with regular washer and dryer. I might get some hate but they are 14 years old and still work great. I can repair them myself. This gives me some good ideas to make ours nicer!

Great video and gorgeous laundry room makeover! Tip for those leaking glass dispensers you can buy new rubber washers to put along the inside of the spout inside the jar. Sometimes the washers that they come with aren’t the right size or tight enough. I found replacement ones at Home Depot when I had a water dispenser that leaked from the same spot you pointed out.

I use those same jars for my detergent and softner as well, but mine has a stand & I keep 2 glasses underneath the spouts in case they leak. I NEED those command hooks in my life!! Great makeover girl! So cute!!

I finally got similar jars for my liquid soap and softener. The softener worked great but the detergent was thicker and slower in coming out. Solution...I put in equal parts of detergent and water and give it a stir. Doesn’t seem to separate over time and comes out so quick. Just remember to use double the amount because you watered it down 50%. Love it!

Beautiful laundry room! For the swifter duster, you could just buy a regular command hook since the swifter has a loop on the end of it. Then you don’t have to buy another two pack of the broom holder things.

Very cute! You could hang a piece of fabric on a tension rod under the shelf to hang down behind the washer and dryer to hide the connections and stuff. A pretty shower curtain would work or a pretty tablecloth. Just hot glue the casing for the rod.

Idea, instead of the towels under the jug get a brown $1 rectangle place mat that’s easy to wipe down. If if hangs over the edge cut the backside with scissors and leave the uncut edge towards the front. This is what I did for mine because I was scared they’d leak on the shelf also.

Great job! Motivated me! If you like window treatments you can add Cute grain sack tea towels ( found mine at Target in the Magnolia section) using a small curtain rod and o’rings with hooks (pinchers) in the middle of the window.

You can add a valence under the wood shelf to his the washer cords and plugs etc. Also Ikea has these things you can mount on the wall that can hold laundry baskets I don't know the name but if you type Ikea laundry in on Pinterest it will come up

Another tip is to store your cleaning supplies in a behind-the-door shoe storage hanging thing. Not sure what they're called but each cleaning bottle fits perfectly in a shoe pocket. Saves a ton of space on shelves!

Leaks around the spigot on those dispensers- once it's empty of soap, tighten the tap from the inside (it's generally screwed together and removable so a quick turn and tighten stops the leaks). I have to retighten all mine every so often!

I love your laundry room. I too have the big containers for my detergent & fabric softener. I got mine in Big lots & it came with a metal pedestal that it sits on & it's on my dryer. I love to put other liquids in fancy bottles I got from Dollar Tree..... ( with labels).I have vinegar, clorox, etc... & it looks nice.

you could get double stick velcro; a piece of fabric that you loved; velcro the fabric to the bottom of the lower shelf, the length just long enough to cover your cords and hoses short enough you have access but long enough to cover up the ugly bits. to fix leaks around pipes purchase some caulk you can get clear, run a bead around the spicket, that should do the trick.

Your laundry room looks great! Suggestion, for your detergent in glass containers , instead of towels to catch possible leakage maybe use those round water plant dish used to catch the extra water from plants.

You can seal your dispenser with a little E6000 glue around the spigot

Looks great. I had the same problem with leaking on the seals went back to instructions on jar needed to reach inside the bottle and hold inside nut and outside spout and give a little twist to tighten. Leaking stoped but unfortunately the problem of becoming slow dispensing due to build.up kept happening. Had to bag the idea but use it as my vinegar for laundry dispenser. May try applying some kind of decorative application to the outside of a old laundry bottle dispenser to dress up the look without worries of clogging. Again great job😊

Even when I took the lid off my dispenser it still ran out slowly. Cleaning it thoroughly before refilling it helped. I have vinegar in one and it stays flowing quickly. I then add essential oils (eucalyptus) to the measuring cup to help clean the clothes and keep them smelling fresh.
