@@beyond50skin I think it would likely be too glowy for me. Typically, a foundation like that, I'd only get 3 to 4 hours of wear before it started breaking down.

My lashes are nice and long due to Bimatoprost and Revitalash I used to have stubs, but no more 🤩…. I was shocked by this dupe… I’m not really into doing dupes, but this landed in my lap and I was like wow this looks identical!! 💕💜💕

Whoa. Maelove jacked up prices big time. Fade Away was introduced last year or the year before. It was under 20 bucks! They were a more affordable brand. I tried their serums but they didn’t work for me. I notice many US KZbin users are switching over to k-beauty lately. I did for a while in 2020/2021. My biggest issue was they changed formulations quite frequently. It got to the point I never knew if I would react or not to a product that was supposed to be the same. I stick with Albolene, Ponds Cold Cream or just a bottle of any oil for a first cleanse, Vanicream cleaner, vitamin C and moisturizer. SPF has been difficult. I use Naturium’s SPF 50 moisturizer but have to avoid my eyes. It’s the first organic SPF that my face doesn’t react to. I love Avene’s mineral SPF compact for “makeup”. I basically wait for sales. Avene, Vanicream, & Cetaphil are staple brands for me. Also pure Vaseline petroleum jelly. I use it around my eyes, lips, slugging etc. Basically, I shop my own products. 😊💜

This is so ironic! I just did a budget skincare video and I had to make a caveat for Maelove. When I was gathering my budget faves they were 100% on my mind. But when I sat down to do the video and looked up the prices YIKES!! (thank goodness I re-checked) or you all would have thought I was crazy ... I am sorry their products didn't work out for you. I liked the Fade Away and the MoonLight. But doubling the prices in this economy is not cool at all. Both moisturizing tints look beautiful on you. I tried the dupe awhile back bit it definitely turned yellowish on me. Very disappointing because I loved it when first applied.

PS I wish I could get by with a tinted moisturizer but I'm still pretty oily and generally I need more coverage. I've used Pat McGrath Skin Fetish foundation for the last few years and rotate it with Dior or Nars Light Reflecting but PM is my favorite right now.

To be 100% honest it was pure luck/serendipity! I happened to notice when I was sampling the Neutrogena (I picked it up for a back-up drugstore pick for my tinted moisturizer collab)… it looked almost exactly like the LMLRTM!! Oh no that’s the one drawback to drugstore complexion products, especially the Neutrogena brand. They’re constantly changing them, discontinuing them …. making the search for the perfect skin tint / tinted moisturizer completely impossible 😩. If you find an another dupe before I do for the Laura Mercier let me know!! … and I’ll definitely do a review. 😊
