That crust on the prime rib looks absolutely incredible! Achieving a crispy exterior while keeping the inside perfectly tender is key. 🔥🤤

I've been using your prime rib recipe for years now and it's perfect every time. The only downside is we can never eat prime rib anywhere else.❤❤❤

Sorry Laura! I agree with the garlic and rosemary with salt and pepper prep. The mustard is a no go. I perfer to smoke my prime rib at 225 Deg F in a wood pellet smoker at 30 to 40 minutes per pound with a internal temp of 125 Deg F. I always use Pecan wood pellets to smoke with. I have never had any guest complaints and they always ask for more. Love your channel.

@@yvettegon4403 agreed! I just watched the video of chef Jean Pierre making a prime rib and he goes for internal 120f, personally I like it just a touch more cooked, other than that, his looked absolutely perfect to me. It did look at lot pinker than this one Laura cooked, even tho they both went for 120 internal, but chef jp used a digital real time thermometer.

Gonna try this out with a side of your green bean casserole and mashed potatoes…. I made your green bean casserole ( with homemade fried onion) for ThanksGiving and it was a HUGE hit.. never EVER using canned mushroom soup as long as i live 😂

I use the same oven temperature cooking method but have added dry brining in the fridge for 48 hours. Laura I have a husband who hates rare meat so I do the same thing, rarer in the middle and cooked on the ends.

As a variation, stud a beef roast with cloves, garlic, rosemary and S&P. I know it's not a ham but, try it. Try it with a round or sirloin roast first to see what you think. Yes, medium rare also. You can thank me by inviting me to dinner.

It’s beautiful. I of course like my meat to eat safe and very well done, but I know many people like to risk and have it red in the middle.

This is the fourth KZbin notification I’ve received within a week regarding prime rib recipes. Is there a prime rib season or something? This is weird.
@MrMnmn91124 күн бұрын
Yes. Prime Rib Roast is equally a family dinner that many people choose, similar to turkey, for the holidays. Many retailers will also have the bone-in and boneless rib roasts on sale...the same as sale prices on turkeys.
@ashleys465224 күн бұрын
Not weird, totally normal. Prime Rib is a traditional holiday and special occasion cut of meat. Thats why many grocery stores have sales on it at this time of year.
@DinanBMWm524 күн бұрын

Over-cooked, never saw one in any chefs video that bad. Even she made the comment right away. They should have scrapped it and reshot the video with the corrections on timings. Now people that watch this will think its the right way to do a prime rib, shame.

If you're commenting on how great that looks then you don't know what a good prime rib is. She killed that poor piece of meat.
@mrkattm23 күн бұрын
OMG, that was so over done and the gray band was embarrassing wide, why waste your money if you are going to cook it like this, it is a crime? Although it did look more like a USDA choice grade as oppose to Prime grade so cost was not as bad but still pricey. First rule for cooking large roasts is to to use the reverse sear method, second rule is don't cook a roast based on time, use a thermometer and cook it to your desire temp factoring in carry over cooking.
