Immediately after watching this I went to the grocery store and bought some peaches. I doubled the sugar, because the quality of the peaches wasn't the awesome. The sorbet turned out great! I cannot imagine how good it would be if I had some better peaches from earlier in the season. Thanks Laura! :)

Laura, I really enjoy all your videos. I live in Texas we get locally grown cantaloups. I dice them and add them to my vanilla ice cream mixture. After it's churned,it's one of my families favorite summer treats.

hey Laura I have been a huge fan of yours for years now, you're doing a great job! I have one request though, could you make blue raspberry sherbet, they used to make it at baskin robbins but stopped and I never found a recipe online. I think if anyone could make a blue raspberry sherbet as good as they did, its you!

have you heard of a fruit called mammy sapote? you can find them in asian markets. if you make a smoothie with them it tastes a lot like caramel. (their ripe when they give with pressure)

Modified this by using 2 mangos, 2 peaches, 4 strawberries, and half a lime instead of lemon juice. Turned out great (surprise for my wife.) Also modified your chocolate chip cookie dough recipe by using crushed Oreos instead. This plus homemade pizza and we're set! Thanks for the videos. (I use the Cuisinart 2 quart machine.)

Yum! That looks so good. We've gotten a lot of use out of our ice cream maker this summer, though we've just been doing plain vanilla with different things added in. The most recent was crushed-up Butterfinger bars. Delicious!

I make a cherry sorbet with 3 cups of frozen pitted cherries and 1 cup of Concord grape juice. I put the mixture in the blender (I have a Vitamix) and it turns to soft serve. I don't have to add sweetener because of the grape juice. It's delicious.
