I was flat chested all thru high school. I remember changing in the gym locker room and I was the only girl without curves, and it made me so self conscious of my looks. Fast forward I went to college, graduated, and saved up and got implants. Let me tell you, it was the best money I have ever spent in my life! I feel so confident now, and I feel like clothes for me better. I understand why some people hate them but I love mine. ❤️

I've always looked so 'adolescent' and too young for my age and so my implants were also the best money I've spent. My sister got them as well and my mom got implants in 1962 !

Hi there Laura 🤗I hate the idea that so many women want implants, ridiculous looking lips, botox, bottoms that can really look terrible but men for the most part want no parts of artificially changing their appearance and want even consider having a Vasectomy, while many clearly need it done. I had breast implants for 13 years, and they made me sick (breast implant illness) I got them removed and now my health is so much better. I don't want to change my body by plastic surgery never again.

Breast implants look awfully unnatural basically on anyone! I get that women want to have full rounded breasts, it looks more feminine and sensual, but if at least they looked natural and didn’t cause women illnesses, maybe it could be a thing. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. Nowadays, there are many noninvasive aesthetic procedures that, not necessarily will make them look much bigger, but can surely give them a better appearance and feel.

It seems like there is more of an emphasis on plastic surgery on the face now than in the past. A woman's body doesn't change the person within , so it's too bad some feel plastic surgery will make people accept and love them more.

I think each gal should think about whether "proportion" is important to her or not. I feel better when I am proportioned, so I use underwire and pushup bras, but no surgery. I personally don't like my boobs to sag, so bras are my friend! But again, I think this is an area where each gal needs to think about what makes her feel best, not what society tells her looks best for her chest!

Interesting topic! I remember when Victoria’s Secret had their water bra. It was really popular not sure why they ever got rid of it. Are used to babysit the two little kids down the street and I will go early so the mom can get ready and she just had stacks and stacks of padded bras.

Just getting implants DIDN'T mean you were going to automatically look like Pamela Anderson or a stereotypical bombshell!! In order to look like stereotypical '90s or '00s bombshell, you needed a naturally tiny waist (22"- 24"), naturally slim, but curvaceous, hips, a strong shapely back and a naturally lean and fit body. Everything had to be balanced and symmetrical. So if you were pear-shaped, apple-shaped or boyish, wish more masculine-looking facial features, then implants probably wouldn't have looked good. It's ALWAYS about the OVERALL effect when it comes to beauty standards/appearance.

Breast size has literally nothing to do with how much milk a mother produces. You can have tiny boobs and produce a lot of milk and have huge boobs and produce little.

Nah, I was always nearly completely flat and I still grew a giant baby and nursed him for a little over 2 years. He's still significantly taller than other kids the same age.
