The way many 'Christians' respond to Lauren Daigle makes me afraid of today's 'Christian' culture. Their actions say nothing about Christ. To think most of the cyberbullying comes from them. That must really hurt. Meanwhile, Lauren's actions say more about Jesus' love than most of these ever will.

_loveKeys_ here here!!! I couldn’t have said it better. Honestly I’ve struggled in my relationship with God. I was raised Catholic and I always felt like God was against me..... here and there in my adult life I tried different churches never feeling like it fit or never believing all of what was being taught.... for a while now my anxiety has gotten debilitating and one day while listening to an indie station on Pandora “you say” came on. I had no idea it was a worship song. I can honestly say Lauren has helped me to start the conversation with God. An actual relationship. I have a ways to go but I’m trying. Thank you for eloquently defending her ❤️❤️

Way to go Lauren defending yourself despite the adversity. You are awesome and I hope to see you in concert someday. As a Christian I am always amazed how some Christians love to tear down other Christians in the name of God or perhaps pretending to be God. And we wonder why the church is shrinking year upon year. Why would anyone want to be part of a “you’re not Christian enough” fight. Lauren has been called from everything from a false prophet to a witch. Seriously people all this crap has to stop. Just because she doesn’t say Jesus or God enough in her lyrics doesn’t make her a non-believer. To the contrary because she alludes to God in indirect references makes her more appealing to the rest of the secular world. Why should she sing just to the choir if we want to spread the word of God? You attract more bees with honey than vinegar. Listen to her lyrics as they speak of God’s love and grace he spreads over believers. If you “beat” people with the bible they are less likely to be interested in pursuing God. This was my case as I attended a Bible Church for too many years. Each week the pastor would pound the bible into us saying that we were all sinners never being able to measure up to the glory of God. These fire and brimstone messages usually started with “and men and women to I mean to tell you” and went on from there. Needless to say, after hearing these “inspirational” sermons week after week I began to walk away from the church. Fortunately, my mom baked Church into my DNA so it wasn’t long before I said there’s got to be a better church. Indeed there was and it was the Chapel in Chicagoland. There, they present positive uplifting messages showing the love of God never judging others. Judging is not for us to do rather this is something only he will do when he returns. This brings me back to Lauren and how she doesn’t judge unlike those that criticize her. Keep going Lauren showing your love through your beautiful music and give God’s grace to those that hate.
