"I hope you find this useful'???!!!! 🤣 I thought it was absolutely fantastic!!!! I've been sewing for decades and NEVER touched sequins coz it looked too difficult. I did however buy some beautiful sequined fabric years ago, but it's been stuck in my closet coz I didn't know what to do with it, and then you young lady, in a matter of minutes have just done away with all my fears. I'm ecstatic!!! 😁😁😁😁 Can't wait to make my sequin skirt now. This vid is definitely going into my favourites, and I'm about to press the subscribe button. 🤗 Thank you ever so much!! 👍

Great video and may attempt a party top for Christmas party this year. Would you include the sleeves in the lining too. As I have never lined anything before us it easy. X

I looked at their sequin version of the Grainline Scout Tee at Sewing Bee Live, and yes the sleeves are lined too. It's literally a copy of the sequin version sewn together at the neck. You could put a couple of stitches in the side seams to loosely hold together the top and stop the lining from riding up. Hope that helps :)

A timely vlog - will be brace ! I'm being dim but can't think how to attach a lining to a t-shirt. Can you link to any videos?
@LaurenGuthrieGhani7 жыл бұрын
Hi Keely, I don't have video of my own to link to but its pretty easy to do. Just make two tops - one with sequins and one with lining and hem the sleeves and bottom of the top separately so the only thing unfinished on each top is the neckline. Then sew the two tops together with right sides facing at the neckline and then either under stitch or top stitch to help it lie flat. I hope that makes sense? I'll add it to my list of ideas for future videos :)
