Apparently this was done, either in the BC time or the 6th Century when they rewrote the Torah. The New Testament was edited from the get go, by Constatine's Priests/Bishops, when establishing his "1 State Religion", thus the Gospels that were avoided, that met the criteria to be admitted. G"ospel of Thomas" would have interfered with their model, (Priests having to intercede was their requirement). So yes, it is a dilemma when content isn't included, is mistranslated, or misinterpreted. Clearly, Constatine also desired the Religion be Marketable to the Romans, who listed the Jews, and others throughout the empire that were happy in their Pagan practices. There's a logical purpose to researching the content and studying the era's History. I wish a nonbiased team would task this and present a more accurate story. ... and next to never could we expect all to embrace a new clear story, but it certainly would satisfy many a Truth Seeker and Historian.
