We love Carnival and have cruised on the Mardi Gras a couple of years ago and in 3 weeks we’ll be on the Jubilee. So excited! With that said, I do wish their MDR food was better. We love to eat in the MDR for the experience, but the food is usually “just ok”. So I’m excited to try this new menu.

One thing I learned is that if something is bland, it just needs a bit of salt and then it’s actually decent. I don’t usually add salt to finished meals, so that was more of an adjustment for me than you’d think lol. I learned to always add salt to their Caesar salads. Hello We just returned from 5day on the Breeze. I was excited to have new menu choices. Emeril helped revamp the menu so I expected herbs and spices but was highly disappointed. Im sure it’s difficult to cater to so many palettes. But Im from New Orleans and I must add that the Crawfish fettuccine was an insult to the dish. The menu is Overall Lacking in flavor but there were a couple of decent choices. The Indian choices are redundant but the most flavorful on the menu. We sail on the Jubilee in a few months and I hope the food is better seasoned esp in Emerils Bistro

Thanks for your feedback! Enjoy the Jubilee! I recommend the Shrimp Scampi at Emeril's. It was my favorite dish there.

Can you call and change dinner reservations to specialty dining

You can just not go to the main dining room. If you have Early or Late dining and its convenient to tell your server when you'll be missing dinner in the MDR. But if you don't get a chance to tell them, no one will be mad at you. You can reserve specialty restaurants online before the cruise or in the app during the cruise.

Is prime rib only served once? I'm on the Celebration in 4 weeks for the 8 day southern.

Yes, it's served the same night as lobster tails, so for you that's probably night 7.

Did you have to pay for the second lobster tail or are you allowed to get 2 and you have to pay if you want a third one?

You can get two as long as you don’t get any other entrees. A third would be $5 (and a 4th would be another $5 etc.).
