Hi Lauren, I have been learning Scots Gaelic for about 4 weeks now, I use an app called "Bluebird", however, it teach's phrases in some sort of random manor. I like your KZbin snippets as you focus on a topic at a time. I have your clips in a playlist. After I do my daily blue bird app I do my playlist of your topics. I am finding them very useful I, feel very confident, counting to 10, days of the week, and months. I'm currently trying to master your colours, and the seasons. Keep up the good work.

Hi Brian, thank you very much for watching and I am glad that you are finding benefit in them because my aim is to make Scottish Gaelic a little more digestible for beginners as I know how intimidating it can be to look at. I have never heard of Bluebird before, is this something that you pay for? Just in case you aren't aware or it is something that would interest you, 'Speak Gaelic' have launched a learning programme and all of the beginner materials are free to access! I think they include video, written and writing exercises and it has been created by many of the official Gaelic boards.

@@Laurenrhiannon Thank you I'll have a look at that and get back to you. BLue bird has a free daily lesson, but you can pay to unlock lessons early. I'm getting a bit older and my memory isn't as good these days so I'm happy to learn slowly. Not to mention I don't know any one to converse with. I don't know enough for conversation any way so I'll look for chat buddies later down the road. I'm watching your video on names for facial parts, so I thought I'd suggest that you could do a video on other general body parts, ie, arms legs, hands, feet, fingers and toes. To start. Another perhaps on shoulders, knack, back, chest, hips stomock, etc Up to you of course

And i thought French words were phonically tough. They are but still. Gaelic is tough to crack with that brogue without a wee bit of americanism. Looking forward to season 7 of Highlander. Sasanac.
