Laurie Cabot is a brave woman. How many of us would have opened a witch shop in the early seventies? This was not a novelty store for tourists, but a bonafide store dedicated to the Art and Science of Witchcraft- one of the first in the country. I'm pretty sure she must have faced prejudice, struggle and opposition in the beginning. I think she is amazing for keeping her doors open for us as long as she has. Laurie deserves every dollar she has made. In fact she should raise her prices!

Tight we all had been her mother saw an opportunity and ran with it and got to give her some credit because of her Salem became a huge tourist attraction and now is booming as for the Csbots Laurie tried for yrs to get the Mayor to claim her an the official witch of Salem and it was not to be until the Mayor left then Laurie went to Dukakis and then he made her the official Witcher Salem and she flew with it ... it cost him when he ran for president!! Mrs. Karma does not discriminate against anyone at the end of it all Laurie do to a few discrepancies doesn't have the power like she used to sadly, shit happens .. Anyone, can say they read tarot cards- make spells a magician is a magician - people believe in what they want to believe however , leave our saints like Raffaele Jude Anthony out of it ! Although "evil" is their invented word...I prefer to just say anyone has the potential to be negative or do harm and those types exist in every path though a very small % , but as we know the media isn't going to focus on all of the good positive work.
