As much as I love Laurie, there are so many inconsistencies about how she became a witch. It was written that she was initiated into a coven with a lineage going back to Kent before the advent of Wicca YET she mentions Threefold and the Rede here. Makes no sense at all BUT I do like and resonate with her ideas about the science of magick

I think she was just describing modern witchcraft in general, not her particular beliefs.

Maybe because the wisdom of the first wicca was published by them to everybody know how witches think so everybody can follow the threefold law not only initiates into specific covens By the way ancient hermetic laws also explain that law and the roots of witchcraft are ancient

She said not an evil God or Goddess, but they do worship a God and Goddess. She's saying the God and Goddess isn't evil, but good. Most people seem to believe witches worship evil, but she's saying they don't.
