I had the same problem. In my case the pump had to be primed after long storage. Remove back plate by unscrewing 4 screws on corners. Pop out the flow meter, disconnect it by gently puling the connector. Locate the hose thats going to the pump. Turn on the machin and press water dispensing button. With the big syringe full of water pump the water in. Repeat it couple of times or until water starts pouring. Hope it helps somebody. Cheers.

Live saver my friend za zu! I just picked up one of these machines yesterday for $40 at a garage sale. Hadn't been used in years from what original owner told me. I tried testing it and I heard pump running but nothing came out. Followed your advice, primed pump and it works! Then i descaled everything and cleaned and this machine lives on!

Hello, how are you? I'm having problems with the machine, when I press for the coffee to come out, the water comes out through the skimmer and not where the coffee should come out. Do you know what it could be? Thank you very much

Finally, was the pump defect? Ive the same problem. Pump buzzes but no water, coffee, steam, whatever....

hey thanks! I already ordered a new pump. if its not, I will try to change the flow-meter. But the flow meter seemed fine when I tried it manually and by blowing. The tubes were completly dry. Thanks mates for your friendly help! Would you say this machine is still a good grab? Or would you always prefer non big electronics, pure espresso machines without pods or bags?!

what is considered soft water? my office machine is leaking and only give half a cup of espresso. but when i clean and descale it, its a full cup of water....

Hello, mine doesn't pump any water (no coffee, water or steam). The floatation device seems to work fine since the led on the front responds to water level correctly. The tubes are completely dry, I I'm thinking the pump needs cleaning or is defective. My issue is I do not know how to extract the pump. Would u have some advice regarding how to dissemble the machine so as to be able to extract the pump? I would really appreciate it!

If I remember correctly you can get to the pump from the bottom back of the machine.

After replacing the pump on my espresso point machine, the presets (short, medium, and long shots) no longer turn off automatically. Any idea what could be causing that or if there is a way to program those again?

@@seb1 hello, not sure if you have figured this out yet, but it may be the hoses on the flow meter are on the wrong sides. Switch them see if it fixes rhis

then the flowmeter does not work, machine counts pulses and stops when reached a certain number

Did anyone figure this out? My presets aren't working also. I didn't replace anything. Not sure what needs to be fixed to get my presets to stop automatically.

That problem you just described is common with those machines that means your issue is that you have a leaky chamber membrane and it needs to be replaced in order for it to work again there is a website called lavazza repair and they will most likely have chambers to fix your machine if you have any questions please contact them.
