What you quoted made me think of what a journalist said about the view of the world of politicians. He compared Macron's view (French president) and Trump's view. He said "Trump sees the world as an *arena*, Macron sees it as a *community*, that changes everything". ^^

Fake it 'till you make it totally works. When I'm having a bad day I always force myself to smile. It doesn't matter how bad it's going, if you smile you somehow feel that smile inside of you and it does lift your mood and makes you more hopeful 🌿

Harshita Kushwaha It's something new and unfamiliar to a lot of people. Unfortunately we're taught at an early age to hide our flaws and weaknesses while shunning it in others. We're not taught one of the basic human traits - that is Compassion. Empathy. To ourselves and to each other. That's one primal reason why the world has been so sick. It's up to us to make the Change. But we can only effect the outside world by making those positive changes within ourselves and then sharing that knowledge, compassion, and light with the things and people we come into contact with. ✨⭐🙏⭐✨

I'm on the journey to self love more often since I've always had low self-esteem , but I actually feel like taking selfies actually help? If I take a picture of myself and it looks nice, I feel better about myself. It's not about the attention, it's just having the guts to be in front of the camera instead of behind the camera is confidence boosting.

When I broke my back, I was prescribed medications for pain, anxiety, suppressed appetite, and other medications to help me focus in class while the pain killers made me tired. I found myself forming unhealthy relationships with them. What allowed me to prevent myself from having a real problem with them was loving myself. Loving being alone with myself and learning to love that experience. I now view the experience of breaking my back as a small part of me and I'm so thankful it happened because I wouldn't be who I am today without it. Thanks so much for making this video, I know it will be a big help many people who watch it!

I love your self-love tips! ♥ Also, it's really important to write down, read or listen to the affirmations on a daily basis (best all three ways), because our subconscious mind learns through rehearsal (and pictures - that's why visualisation is so powerful!). So if you are struggling with negative self-talk try to make this a morning habit. It really helped me! I'm still struggling from time to time, but it has become so much better! And always remember that start loving yourself is a process and will take some time. So please be kind to yourself and if you find yourself having negative thoughts - be aware of them and try to let them go. Don't jugde yourself because of it!

I'd like to add something to those lists of flaws and good traits. Among the good traits write also something that is bad with having that trait (like nice- people can walk over me etc). And the flaws; what is a good thing with this flaw, like; I'm scared of everything - it makes me cautious when facing new situations. It's trickier with the flaws but very eye opening once you get it. That way it's easier for me at least, to love myself, flaws and all because it's all a matter of perspective. Nothing is really a "good" trait and nothing is really a "bad" trait.💖😙

You speak truth, that's what I can say for someone who's into personal development. I do truly believe that if everyone in the world strived to become their best selves, we wouldn't have life threatening problems between our community. However it's our job to help people and inspire them to become their best selves as well. I always like the saying "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime." I apply this quote here because it helps me know that I shouldn't shame others for not being more hardworking, smarter, etc. and tell them to change. Instead I should be nurturing and encouraging. However thank you for all your help. You are truly an amazing leader and it's wonderful that you help virtual communities worldwide.

Your KZbin channel is absolutely one of the ones that I'm thinking "Wow, she's gorgeous! She's doing so well! Her videos are amazing!" :) You are so right though; comparison really is the thief of joy and I love what you said about life not being a competition, but a community! That was really beautifully said! I shared a video on "Self Love" on my channel a few months ago discussing similar thoughts as well, and I've really found that spending time with myself (self-care, taking time to write in my journal, meditate, etc.) has really helped me grow my self love. The same way that we fall in love with others when we spend TIME with them, we have to allow ourselves time alone to fall in love with ourselves as well! Thank you for this video!

Keana Garnett Drama clubs are very good in building up self esteem. when you get to play a character who is different from yourself you start to learn about yourself and learn to love you for you. I studied Drama throughout college to Uni and it was the best thing I ever did :) I believe in Art we find ourselves. the best advice I can give you is to just go ahead and start your novel, it does not have to be perfect but it will give you the courage you need to pursue your dream. Remember self love is about you and nobody else, accept you for you and love you for you 💖

As a person who have depression before, I created my table diary called "Everyday is awesome" that is inspired by random image on Pinterest. On the table, I write the list of things, for example, reading a book, feel happy, waking up early if that day i do that thing. I will fill the gap. It helps a lot to make me see the value of myself in everyday and it is fun to draw new ones in every month.

The thing that helped me quite a lot is that I told myself that I had a bit of my mother, and a bit of my father in me. My looks are a mix of theirs, and my personality is also a mix of theirs. And I should be really proud of that. I should cherish and embrace everything that I have because it's unique. Every time I thought "oh, you're ugly / you're not good enough", I knew I was not only being mean to myself, but to my parents too. So yeah, dunno if it makes sense but that really worked for me (I was very insecure before).

I loved the tips!! At first I confess I underestimated the video because of the title.. you know, it seems like an obvious thing.. "in order to love yourself you need to..".. but wow! how wrong I was.. you gave us really practical exercises.. real good and simple tips on how to do it.. thank you for taking the time to help us all!! kisses from Brazil!
